A Spice Girls Reunion!?! These people must really need something in their careers because this has got to be the worst idea ever. I was never really a fan of the all-girl pop band that was Spice Girls, and I hated the fact they were all fake names. They were never even that good. And now they are getting back together to record a new song?.. Maybe it will be popular over in Europe, but my guess is that over here it will be an annoying joke that doesn’t do anything but get mocked on Saturday Night Live. Here’s the scoop:

The Spice Girls are back together recording a song they wannabe this year’s Christmas No 1, the News of the World can reveal. A Spice insider said: “It’s phenomenal news for them, and the girls are really excited.”

Ginger and Baby Spice could hardly contain their joy, jumping up and down, giggling and hugging each other after laying down vocal tracks for their first CD in seven years at their former producer’s home on Tuesday.

Emma, 31, and Geri, 34, were seen leaving Richard Stannard’s £4m house. Mel C, 33, is thought to have been there. Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, and Scary, Mel B–who are both in Los Angeles–will fly to England to record their parts in a few weeks. (Source)

Well if this is really happening then I guess we have to embrace it! I’m not going to buy their CD, download their song, or even wait for it to be on television.. but I’ll watch it on YouTube if it pops up. I’m just not expecting it to be good because their track record isn’t so great!
