Paris Hilton Gives Clothes to Charity
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Paris post, so don’t get too mad. Plus, at least this story is about her trying to do something good for once! And by trying to do something good I whole-heartedly believe she’s doing it just to look good and because she said she wanted to be “different” after she got out of jail. Minus the drinking, partying, and scaling fences, she isn’t doing too bad. I mean, she hasn’t driven drunk again, has she?
Anyway, Paris claims that because she has so much stuff, she’s going to give some of it away. Why? Because she doesn’t wear anything twice, duh! The stinker says:
“I have, like, a million clothes and more than 500 pairs of shoes, so I’m going to give a bunch of them to orphanages and children’s hospitals. I never wear something twice.”Â
I can see it now: little orphans running around in Chanel pumps with Dior handbags. Nice! If she wants to do something good, she should auction all that crap off and give the money to a good cause–like Katrina relief or the Susan G. Komen fund. That would be better! But it IS Paris and we have to assume she can’t think of any good ideas so this is the best she came up with. It still is trying to do something nice so I guess we’ll give her that… I guess.

They are going to have to wash the clothes in lye to disinfect them first. LOL
The orphanages and childrens hospitals can auction the clothes themselves and still benefit.
I dont know about anyone else..but that almost offends me that she says she never wears anything twice…its so utterly materialistic…its offensive. But at least shes donating!

From what I understand, a lot of what she wears is comp stuff from various designers and other sources. That’s probably why she only wears something once and then gets rid of it. I think I’m in the wrong business.
