Yesterday I wrote about how Miley Cyrus had some personal pictures of her leaked to the internet, and I also happened to mention that her real name is Destiny Hope. Remember that? Well, funny I should’ve mentioned that yesterday because today reports are out that Miley, who has gone by the name Miley since she was a young child, is changing her name officially to Miley Ray Cyrus. The middle name of Ray is to, of course, pay tribute to her Achy Breaky Heart singing father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Personally, I think Destiny Hope is a really hippie, teen-mom type of name so I think it’s smart that she legally changed it to Miley. Not that I think Miley is a great name, but its better than Destiny Hope. I went to high school with a girl named Destiny and she smoked Camel unfiltered ciggies and penciled in her eyebrows. She was rough. That’s what I associate the name Destiny with. Roughness. So, good for Miley on getting that taken care.
