Late Night with Jimmy Fallon?

Wow, I really didn’t see this one coming but it makes me pretty happy. It seems that when Conan O’Brien will take over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2009, Jimmy Fallon is rumored to be the one taking Conan’s place.

NBC reportedly wanted Jon Stewart first, but Stewart is in a contract with Comedy Central. Jon Stewart is cute for an old guy but his show just isn’t funny at all! Boring! But Jimmy is funny. Without all those lame songs he has, Jimmy is a funny guy.

I’m excited for this if it really happens. Apparently, NBC really wants to seal the deal with Jimmy Fallon so they can put the last nail in the coffin with Conan taking over for Jay.. the network can’t afford to lose Coney!
