Kirsten’s Feelings About Acting

Okay, so, I am someone who sort of thinks all celebrities should be thankful for what they do. Why? Because a lot of them make more than most doctors, therapists, and other important people by just pretending to be someone else on screen. Now, I’m not discrediting actors for what they do, God knows I enjoy a good movie, but once again Kirsten Dunst has thrown in her two cents about how much of a drag it is to make movies. When I read this, I thought to myself, “How is it that this sad girl, who I think sort of looks like Pete Doherty’s lost sister, makes millions as an actress yet complains about everything from being famous to how demanding things are on set?” The reason I said Pete Dorherty is because they both have those freaky high cheek bones and tiny chins. Anyways, here’s what she had to say during an interview:

“Action movies really entail sitting in a trailer all day and not doing anything. You get there at six in the morning, you get all dressed up, put your make-up on and it seeps into your pores all day long and it’s really boring. I always have a lot of action in these films, and I don’t like it. Everything that you see in the great action clips take weeks and months, each moment takes a day. It involves screaming, cars, heights, and it’s very technical and complicated.”

I guess it’s too technical and complicated for us regular folk to grasp. Thank goodness we have Kirsten to do that hard work for us. I just wish she would stop moping like some black cloud is following her and come to realize that she’s got it pretty darn good.
