I love Sex and the City. I’ve seen every episode almost 4 times. I cried my eyes out when Carrie broke up with Aidan. Hello, he took you back after you cheated on him with Mr. Big and now you just don’t want to marry him?! Stupid! But I’m looking forward to the movie cause I loved the show. Knowing now, though, that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall had beef on set somehow alters my perception of the whole thing. Finally Kim has addressed those rumors. She said:

“Do you get along with your colleagues all the time? If you’re spending 18 hours a day at work, the last thing you want to do is go and have a drink with the people who you just (spend the day with). You just need to get away.”

I agree with her on that. But I heard that the reason she was pissed at Sarah Jessica Parker was because she produced and therefore got a lot of power over the creative direction of the show. Also, Kim felt her character was just as important as Sarah’s but her paycheck didn’t reflect that. Oh, isn’t it always money? On getting paid a fair amount for the film, Kim said she had to fight for it:

 “I never expected to be paid what Sarah was being paid. But I felt that the offer was not worthy of what the three of us had contributed. And I spoke up about it. I feel like I stuck my neck out. I fought. I don’t ever want to be on a set where I feel undervalued.”

I agree with that, too. She may be a bitch in real life but she seems honest and well spoken. Now I want to hear what Sarah Jessica Parker has to say!
