Kid Rock on The Late Show with David Letterman
Why is it that David Letterman provokes the nastiest but funniest truths out of people? I love it.
Kid Rock was on The Late Show with David Letterman last night.
It’s funny because Kid Rock hasn’t done crap for years but yet he’s still getting paid to go on talk shows just because he was married to someone who’s on the C list. Fame is funny, isn’t it? Anyway, Kid was on Letterman and OF COURSE Dave had to ask him what he thought about Pamela Anderson marrying Rick Salomon. Here’s what Kid said (and it’s pretty fun, not to mention true):
“I wish somebody would have given me the advice I’m about to give Rick Salomon. Why buy the cow, when you get the milk for free?“
“I wish them much happiness.”
Ha! What a burn on her! I love burns because they’re true! Some would say Kid Rock is just bitter but I don’t think so. I think he’s just being honest and it just so happens that its funny, too. If you want to see the video of it, click here.

I totally agree with the previous post: he’s not bitter, maybe there is some genuine regret in there, but when he talked to Larry King he said it best: here’s my handoff to you Rick, and that includes all of the neurotic need for constant publicity at any cost. Bravo, Kid. BTW: he took a couple of years off to be with his son and travel. What’s the problem? He is on these shows now – a thing he doesn’t like to have to do – BECAUSE HIS NEW RECORD JUST LAUNCHED…..HELLO…???!
