Jessica Biel has sure some a long way since 7th Heaven and Summer Catch, hasn’t she? I remember thinking when I saw Summer Catch that both Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jessica Biel were probably the two worst actors I’d ever seen. Fast forward a couple of years and Jessica Biel is getting all these serious, dramatic roles. I will say I think she’s a better actress now, though. Ever since she did The Texas Chainsaw Massacre I’ve had a bit more respect for her cause I always thought acting like you were terrified all the time would be hard. And now, a couple drama and thrillers later, Jessica is set to star in yet another thriller.

The film, titled “Die a Little” after the book of that same title written by Megan Abbott, is about a woman’s life being turned upside down when her brother meets and starts dating a mysterious woman. The book is written in the 1950s but the film will be set in present day. Biel will star as the mysterious woman and she will also produce the film. She’s really trying to get paid, isn’t she?!
