Jay Z Doesn’t Pay His People, Sued
You know what’s funny? When I googled Jay Z so that I could find a photo of him, a picture came up with the title of “Jay Z not dead after all.” Haha. I find that pretty funny.
Okay. Now that I got that out of the way. I guess Jay Z is being sued by some waitress chick who works at his cluc 40/40 in New York City. The chick is saying that she has never been paid, and that she has been forced to work for tips.
Celeste Williams, a former “server” at the swank 40/40 Club, accuses the music mogul and the company that owns the joint, Twenty Ones, Inc., of not even paying her minimum wage. She also alleges that the club held back tips from servers and that she got stiffed for overtime she worked. What’s more, Williams’ lawyers say in the complaint that there are “more than 100″ other 40/40 employees who will join the lawsuit. Williams is seeking unspecified damages. (Source)
Seems like there’s gotta be some truth to this because how could she sue for something 100% not true? I don’t know though. She could just be trying to get some publicity. But working at a night club owned by a celebrity located in New York City.. I’m thinking this chick probaby makes a thousand bucks or more a night. So she should stop complaining before she gets canned and has to work at Hooters in Jersey.

In bars by me they can pay you well under minimum wage, because you make all the money off of tips. If I was making that much money I would shut up lol
the wait staff does NOT make much off their tips. i worked in sales, and our wages SUCKED, but they were still better than the wait staff. it’s not Jay’s fault, though. it’s Desiree Gonzalez who was the problem… that’s why Jay got rid of her. that chick was crazy. she was the one who didn’t want to pay anyone… she’d rather use the money to get her weekly in-office mani/pedi. oh well, ding dong, the witch is dead!
