Uh oh! 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears, the star of Nickolodeon’s Zoey 101, is pregnant. She and her mother, Lynne Spears, told their story to OK! Magazine, which hits stores and newsstands everywhere tomorrow. The baby daddy in 19-year-old Casey Aldridge, who is Jamie Lynn’s live-in boyfriend. (I had no idea 16-year-old had live-in boyfriends?!) Jamie told OK! that when she found out, she was shocked:
“As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody,” she says. “Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”
I wonder if she was “shocked” and “scared” when she was letting her 19-year-old boyfriend plough her every night? I bet not. Funny how that works. I bet Jamie Lynn will be a better mom than Britney! Maybe Britney will see Jamie Lynn taking care of her baby and that will make her want to change? Doubtful. Jamie Lynn is small. Can she even handle a baby, physically? Geez. Merry Christmas to the Spears family! One mistake after the next…

What is up with these stupid teens? If you get pregnant at 16 atleast be smart enough to have an abortion. That family is an unbelieveable reck!

The funny thing about this is that Britney didn’t even know. She called OK! Magazine requesting the interview.
And be smart enough to have an abortion? Yeah, that’ll give Nickelodeon the attention they want.

I’ve never heard of an abortion being described as “smart” exactly.
Let’s be real here: teens get pregnant. This is like lightning striking twice in the same family, true, but Jamie Lynn is just as entitled to make this mistake as anyone else.
The truth is we like picking on Britney, who is an idiot by choice, and every stroke of bad luck that befalls her or her family. The family needs to support J-L no matter what. A baby should be a joyous experience, not an embarrassment.

Actually, I take that back: one person should be ashamed and that’s her mother. Letting some dude “live-in” with her underage daughter? Are you fucking kidding me?
And then Justin Timberlake’s mother says that Britney spent the night at their house all the time (like she stayed on the couch… right!). What is the matter with these people? It’s like they’re whoring out their own children!

that baby is there for a reason…we just have to wait and see what jamie will do. but so far, I believe she is taking full responsibility of this matter. maybe this baby will be what the spears family needs. *gosh* people just needs to stop being so judgemental. at least, jamie didn’t even think of abortion. straight up, she wants to raise her baby…no matter what… look at it in a positive way. this lady has guts!

I think that Jamie and her sister just need to take a vacation and relax.
