I’ve been hearing a lot of hype about the new movie “Hairspray” and I’m not sure why. I mean, there are a lot of celebrities in the movie (Amanda Bynes, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer, John Travolta, Christopher Walken, Zac Efron, James Marsden, Allison Janney, etc) but that’s really not the point they’ve been selling this beast from. Everytime I see a commercial for it, John Travolta’s big head is dominating them. Because I find John Travolta to be obnoxious and weird (Scientologist), I am immediately turned off to the movie… but the hype is so big, I sort of want to see it. Good thing I’m a college student who can’t afford to go to the movies, anyway, or else people might think I’m prejudice against different religions!
