Elton John had an Oscar party, like he always does. And after looking through the pictures from the turn out and watching the Oscars last night, it seems like the big name celebrities were sort of missing this year. Granted, they probably didn’t make any good movies but still. Where were Ben Affleck, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughn, Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Hugh Jackman, Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt… I mean, where were all the celebrities that make you take notice? Yes, a few of my favorites (Kate Winslet, Colin Firth) were at the Oscars and yes a few of my favorites (but not super famous) celeb’s went to Elton’s (Michelle Rodriguez, Christina Hendricks) but it just seemed a bit blah this year. The Vanity Fair party had a little better turn out (Natalie Portman, Hilary Swank) but still a bit lack luster. Seems like Jimmy Kimmel gets more famous people in his sketches than the Oscars and after parties combined! Pics of celebrities partying after Oscar night below.

First, before I get to the story, I’ve got to address the picture above: that is in fact Joan Rivers. It just happens to be one of the few pictures on the internet of Joan Rivers before she had a butt load of plastic surgery. I had to put it up because it’s pretty unbelievable. Plus, looking at Joan’s face now can sometimes be scary and I wouldn’t want you to be scared away from this story–it’s too great.

In what context I have no idea but Joan Rivers told Closer Magazine that Victoria “Posh” Beckham is a rude bitch and everyone hates her. I love it!

She said this:

Victoria Beckham is so nasty. Why doesn’t she just go home?! Her dresses are beautiful, but I don’t care what she does. She’s mean to all the people around her. She’s too short to be a diva. We all use the same hairdressers, make-up artists, limo-drivers and greeters at the airports in LA and nobody has anything nice to say about her. They say she’s rude. She can’t always just be having a bad day. Victoria Beckham should get a life. I am not a fan of outrageous consumption. I think it is vulgar. 

And no-one should flaunt that they have a hundred Hermes bags. Not when people are starving. Everyone should be allowed to have a great time but she shows a distinct lack of class. I dislike Victoria Beckham. The entitlement – the total entitlement. You want to say, ‘Calm down, you were a Spice Girl.’ The arrogance when she walks into a room is astonishing.

Pretty amazing. And I can so see this being true. I love it when one famous person (O.K.–I realize neither of these people are that famous but for the sake of this article, let’s call them both celebrities) calls out another famous person. It’s magnificent!

And, Posh, I hate to say it’s but River’s is right.. You were just a Spice Girl. Without David you’re just a bulimic with kids and fake boobs!

Tom Cruise went to the Galaxy v. Milan game yesterday in Los Angeles. He brought along his two children (the ones Nicole Kidman forgot about) and Posh had her kids. The two of them had a mass introduction and then sat in a special box being the highlight of the occasion, rather than the soccer players. Look at the picture above… poor Isabella (I think that’s her name): as if she didn’t hate herself enough before for having a freak of a father, a Dawson’s creek step mom, not knowing her real mother and having her adoptive mother bail on her… now she’s gotta stare at that bag of bones and hate her body, too. Seriously, poor girl.

 

It’s official! Using their song lyrics and blog, the Spice Girls bid a final farewell Wednesday to cap the conclusion of their successful reunion tour.

“Our time is up … we’ve come to the end of the road … there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we’ve come!,” the group wrote on their Web site. “Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true.”

The letter to fans on the Spice blog was signed with love from Emma [Bunton], Geri [Halliwell], Mel B [Brown], Melanie C [Chisolm] and Victoria [Beckham] after concluding a song best summed up their feelings:

“Goodbye my friend, it’s not the end … So glad we made it, time will never ever change it … ”

The Spice Girls, who last year reunited for the first time since 1998 and completed shows in Europe and the U.S., closed their tour with a show in Toronto Tuesday night. They were originally scheduled to go to Australia and South America, but family obligations and an already overextended timeline wouldn’t allow for it.

As for whether the Spice Girls are done for good or just taking another break, the ladies write, “We look to the future with hope and imagination and let Girl Power live on through all of you as it will continue in us and the future generations to come.”

Here is (obviously, huh?) David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham on New Years Eve. I’m not sure what they did or where they went, but they obviously did something because they look pretty fancy. I don’t know what is happening to me but I’m starting to like Victoria Beckham. Her pig nose doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. And actually, she looks pretty good in this picture. Her dress is pretty hot. I could go without the work-out headband and the white face, but overall she looks pretty hot. And David? Well, when doesn’t he look hot? I like his double-breasted coat and, from what I can see, his suit looks hot too. Let’s hope they did something good on NYE!

I just love it when I hear that super skinny celebs might be pregnant. The fuller look that comes with pregnancy is such a nice break from the ‘on the verge of starving’ look.

This time around the rumor is on Victoria Beckham! That’s right..Posh Spice might be expecting baby number 4. With that, I can’t help but ask the simple question of…How?? She is so stinking skinny that I wouldn’t be surprised if she is a double, or even triple, zero! Isn’t there such a thing as being too skinny to procreate? If she’s not in that circle then I hate to see who is. I would almost guess she would show the moment the baby was conceived.

Apparently sources revealed to OK! that Mrs. Beckham has been trying to figure out what design to go with for a nursery in their new home in southern California. She was also seen shopping twice at an L.A baby store called Petit Tresor where she bought a pink Blankee brand blanket and a pink cashmere stuffed animal. Perhaps it’s a girl? Who knows, but that is why I keep referring to it as just a rumor. If she already knows what she’s having then she’s at least 14-18 weeks along already, and for a fourth child she sure is hiding it well.

With the ever exciting Spice Girls Reunion Tour on the horizon, I suppose that’s good enough reason for her to keep the news on the down low. And if this isn’t just a rumor, of course time will tell.
