Here are Scarlett Johansson‘s latest ads for Mango. For those of you broke ass celebrity wanna be’s who don’t know (that’s me), Mango is an upscale clothing line. I’m sure Scar Jo is getting a shit load of free stuff that she probably hardly ever wears but whatever. Give the free stuff to the ungrateful rich people because that makes the most sense, right? Here are pictures from Scarlett Johansson at the Mango Collection fashion launch in Madrid, Spain last week. I can’t decide if I think she’s pretty–sometimes she is and other times she is just normal. I know I don’t like her tattoo but I’ll accept it since she’s married to Ryan Reynolds. She is looking pretty fit and good these days… maybe because of her role in the upcoming Iron Man 2? We’ll see.

I know I said Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson promoting their movie The Other Boleyn Girl but I’d rather see just Natalie Portman’s face by itself. She’s so pretty and classy I couldn’t bear to take anything away from that by adding chunky Scarlett into the picture. (Before the attacks start–I don’t mean that she’s fat she just looks like a dumpling next to tiny Natalie)  These girls have been everywhere lately promoting their new movie. In fact, I saw them on the Today show last week and tomorrow Scarlett Johansson is going to be on Regis. They must really feel this movie is going to be good. I really hope it is good and I really want to go see it but getting my fiance to go see a movie that isn’t a comedy or gangster drama is tough. If anyone sees it soon, let me know how it is. Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson are on the cover of W Magazine to promote their new movie, The Other Boleyn Girl.  I don’t know exactly what the movie is about, but I took a class last semester and had to watch Elizabeth with Cate Blanchett so I sort of feel like I know a little about the Boleyn’s.. so now if I see this new flick I won’t be completely lost. I really like Natalie Portman, which I know I’ve said a million times, so I hope she does well in this film. I could go either way on Scarlett.. I’ve yet to see her do anything outstanding on or off screen. If she kept her mouth shut, she may be more appealing. Oh, and speaking of Scarlett, she is NOT engaged to Ryan Reynolds.. for anyone who heard otherwise. If you’re interesting in reading the interview from W Magazine, you can click here to do that. I’ll save you the trouble and let you know its pretty boring. They talk about monogamy and being boring. Seriously. You’ll get more from just looking at them than reading the interview. Trust.

Ryan Reynolds is seriously hot so I’m always disappointed to see him engaged or in a relationship. Actually that’s a lie. I was sorta happy to see him with Alanis Morrisette and when they got engaged I thought, “Hey if a fug head like her can get with him then maybe all the normal women have a chance!” but then I remember I am engaged and went back to hating Alanis Morrisette for being with him. Women cannot be happy for other women when it comes to being with a gorgeous, rich, successful man. We’re always jealous.

Now Ryan is rumored to be getting engaged to his girlfriend of over one year, Scarlett Johannson. I hope it’s not true because I think they’ve both been in so many relationships lately that they ought to give this more time. That and I don’t like Scarlett Johannson. I find her beyond fug. She should just get back together with emo poser Jared Leto and Ryan Reynolds should just start taking acting classes. (I mean he’s hot but we all know he sucks at acting!)  BUT if they must get engaged then I guess I’ll support it. Congratulations to them in advance if this turns out to be true!

Edit: When I was saving this picture of Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, I was trying to name it something I hadn’t used before so I put Scar for Scarlett and Ry for Ryan and now the picture is titled Scarry. Haha, I think it’s perfect (yes, I know scary is one R but still) cause they are scarry! Classic.

So, Us Weekly’s got this new cover of Scarlett Johansson, and other celebrities, who may or may not have had plastic surgery. The title under her picture is “Did they or didn’t they?” and then they have all these old pictures of the celebrities when they were chubby compared to new, too skinny pictures of the women with lots of make up on. The pictures are complete bullshit but that’s so like Us Weekly. Apparently, though, Scarlett is really offended and she’s going to sue them. Her rep said,

“US Weekly’s cover story regarding Scarlett Johansson and its clear implication that she has had plastic or cosmetic surgery on her nose is an outrageous and defamatory fabrication lacking any conceivable basis or proof, despite vehement denials by Ms. Johansson prior to publication. Not surprisingly, US magazine cannot provide the dates when she supposedly had this surgery, who performed the surgery, or what was supposedly done — all because there simply is no truth to the story. The publication made a pathetic attempt to validate its story by using two cover photos of Scarlett that were taken years apart with obviously different make-up and lighting, and then relying on an “expert’s opinion” (based solely on looking at the two photos) on what “might” have been done. It wasn’t.“

Scarlett herself said this:

“I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly.” 

If people don’t want to hire her, it’s because she’s a low-talker with little talent and big lips! Ha! Just kidding. I don’t know if I’d be mad about the cover if it were me. Probably not. All press is good press, right? Plus she’s probably just mad that they put that fug picture of her (the one on the left) on the cover. She should be lucky though because this is the only way she’ll get the cover!
