Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal at “Rendition” Premiere

Here is Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal at the premiere of their move “Rendition” at the Toronto Film Festival. They both looked good and when I say they both looked good I mean Jake is a piece of rumored-gay hotness and Reese always looks perfect. I’m confused because there are always rumors about Jake being gay and Jake dating Reese. I’m beginning to think Jake and Reese are like girlfriends or something. They shop, gossip, and cry on eachothers’ shoulders. I don’t think there’s more to it than that. I’d be girlfriend BFFs with either of them!

Ryan Phillippe Dislikes Jake Gyllenhaal

The only thing that could make Ryan Phillippe and Jake Gyllenhaal fighting more gay is if they were doing the “ball-and-streamer” dancing thing from the Olympics. I mean, that’s how gay this little bitch fight really is.

Apparently Ryan Phillippe, the ex-husband of Reese Witherspoon, is pissed off at Jake for dating his ex-wife. I guess what he forgot is that he treated her like shit and then cheated on her, so instead of crying about her dating a new guy, he should be thanking his lucky stars that Reese didn’t pull a Lorena Bobbitt on him.

Here’s the scoop on little crybaby Ryan:

“Ryan is pissed about Jake,” a Phillippe insider tells Us Weekly, adding that Phillippe, 32, told Witherspoon, 31, “he didn’t want ‘that guy’ around their kids [son Deacon, 3, and daughter Ava, 7] and then made some crude Brokeback Mountain remark.”

However, a Gyllenspoon source tells Us that “Reese doesn’t have Jake spend the night when the kids are around.” And though the actor may be angry that Witherspoon is moving on, his feelings for Aussie actress Abbie Cornish, 25, are less conflicted.

Gyllenspoon? Where do they get this crap from? It’s actually sort of catchy though. I can totally see myself saying Gyllenspoon in the shower tomorrow and telling customers they get a free Gyllenspoon with a purchase of Brokeback Mountain on DVD. You hear it and you think it could be a French waffle iron, don’t you? I do.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe Getting Back Together?

Rumors are flying that Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillipe are trying to work out their problems and possibly get back together. Because Ryan is jealous of Reese’s career and because he cheated on her, I really hope these rumors aren’t true. I kinda liked thinking that Reese was with Jake Gyllenhaal, but I guess that fizzled out. The two, who have two children together, were together for 6 years before they separated. Page Six is saying this:

They met for lunch this week at the Votre Sante health-food restaurant, a regular Brentwood haunt for Reese on San Vicente. And they’re going on runs together around the Brentwood Country Club. Both are regular, dedicated runners. Running is a very healing, meditative thing, so maybe it will work its magic on them... Reese and Ryan are trying to work it out. They are still close.”

I don’t know if this is true because if they really met up and had lunch.. wouldn’t the paps have been there? They love it when people reunite after drama. I think we’d have seen pictures of them dining if it was true. But Page Six is usually pretty legit, so who knows. I guess only time will tell if this story is true. Ryan’s reps, of course, denied that this was true. The same way Reese and Ryan’s reps denied that they were separating! Ha.

Reese Does Avon

Reese Witherspoon, who is rumored to be dating Jake Gyllenhaal, is the new Global Ambassador for Avon. Nice! It’s fitting for Reese. Not saying she’s cheap or crummy, like Avon mostly is, but she seems like someone who would wear a lot of simplistic make-up, trying to keep natural. She also seems like someone who saves money by buying a couple of smart products, not loading up on tons of expensive Dior which she’d never wear. I think they chose a good person. I love Reese, though, no matter what. Here’s what Avon had to say about Reese as their new Global Ambassador:

“Our partnership with Reese represents a breakthrough moment for our company — and comes just months after the launch of our successful Hello Tomorrow campaign, which signaled a true evolution for the Avon brand,” said Geralyn Breig, Senior Vice President and Global Brand resident, Avon Products, Inc. “This is the first time we have had celebrity representation on all three dimensions of our business — our philanthropic initiatives, our brand, and the Avon Representative — and we are incredibly excited to have someone of Reese’s talent and stature add her voice to Avon’s message to help bring it to the world.”

The Avon Foundation and Ms. Witherspoon will partner in raising awareness for the Foundation’s programs in the areas of breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief. The Avon Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 1955 with the mission of championing the health and well being of women globally through its philanthropic efforts.

“I am very excited to be partnering with Avon. Avon is more than an iconic world class beauty leader — it is a company that is known the world over as a crusader for women’s causes,” said Ms. Witherspoon. “I am truly impressed by how Avon has been able to effect real change in the
communities in which it does business, and by how committed the company is to providing economic and personal fulfillment to women all over the world. I feel a great responsibility in my own life to give back to society. Now, as the Honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation, I am proud to be joining in the great philanthropic work that is already underway.”

You know we’re going to be seeing her in make-ups, too! Maybe she’ll do a cover with Lauren Conrad! She’s a Mark spokesperson. That would be fun. I like that Avon is only asking classy people to work for them. Think if Britney Spears was on the cover? Sickening. Good for Reese, congrats to her.

Quotes from People’s Most Beautiful People of 2007

People Magazine voted Drew Barrymore the World’s Most Beautiful Person, and then there was a list of other celebs who made the beautiful people list. Some of the choices are questionable, but whatever. Here’s what Drew and the others said, about being beautiful and other beautiful random stuff.

Drew Barrymore on when she feels beautiful:

“Right after I’ve worked out and I’m sweating all over the place and my face is two different colors of white and red and my hair is half wet, half dry and I look like I’m about to have a heart attack. I feel like I’ve changed the shape of my body temporarily into something more flexible and strong.”

Scarlett Johansson said:

“My hair is such a disaster. I never blow-dry. I can’t do my hair at all. It?s just a burden,” admits the star ofThe Nanny Diaries. But the 22-year-old does like one specific part of her anatomy: “I think I have really good feet. They’re cute!”

Jennifer Aniston on yoga:

“I’ve had everything from deep laughter to deep sadness, where I was crying through moves,” she told Self magazine. “It’s good to get that stuff out. You feel like you’re having a therapy session, a workout and a meditation at the same time.”

Patrick Dempsey:

“The gray hairs certainly have come in the last few months,” says the 41-year-old of the grey in his anatomy. “The last year has been difficult on many levels, with the show moving to Thursday night, and everything that happened this year, and worrying that everything was going to go all right with the boys [newborns Darby and Sullivan] and my wife [Jill, age 41]. But they’ve ceased to come in as quickly.”

Halle Berry on aging:

“My choices today reflect the way I feel about myself – I’m happier than I’ve ever been and very comfortable being who and what I am. My current look is confident and sophisticated, with a bit of an edge but always comfortable.”

Jennifer Garner on Violet and Ben:

“Ben and I like more things in ourselves that we now see reflected in Violet. To see my dimples in her makes me like my dimples because I share them with her.”

Katherine Heigl:

“Hair to me is not a priority. All I ever do is throw it in a bun,” admits the Grey’s Anatomy star, 28. “The only thing I know how to do is hot rollers, which is sort of over. I can’t style bangs even though I love them and I’m always like, ‘Let’s cut some bangs!’ And then I’m stuck with hair I can’t figure out.”

Matthew McConaughey:

“I can be pretty vain. Vanity’s not so bad,” admits the 37-year-old. “Look, do I work out because I like to look good? Yes, that part’s vanity. Do I work out because it makes me feel better? Yes, and that’s not vanity.”

Jennifer Lopez:

“I like to look good for Marc,” she says of her husband, Marc Anthony. As for her beauty routine? “I don’t use a lot of expensive creams,” says Lopez, 37. “It’s more simple: mild cleanser, sunscreen and lots of water.”

Eric Bana:

“People in L.A. look too good to me. It’s important to keep flaws,” the 38-year-old Aussie says. In fact, the Lucky You star says his best look comes purely by accident: “I look my best when I take my helmet off after a long motorcycle ride. I have a glow and a bit of helmet hair.”

Kerry Washington:

“When I first started meeting with agents, I remember one immediately telling me all the things I had to change: I’d have to get my teeth fixed, lose weight,” remembers the 30-year-old actress, next in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. “Then I met with another agent two weeks later who was like, ‘You’re perfect – let’s start.’ That’s a good rule to follow: Go where the love is.”

Pete Wentz on the rockstar life and eyeliner:

“I get a ton of under-eye circles because I don’t sleep. Usually I’ll just put on more eye makeup and let it blur in.”

Helen Mirren on staying sexy:

“Number one, I have never smoked. When you are young, you seem indestructible. As you get older, you realize how much it’s helping you. I’ve never done anything to excess, really.” She also thanks her “fundamentally sunny nature,” saying, “unhappiness etches itself on one’s face very quickly.”

Reese Witherspoon:

“Some people are effortlessly glamorous and sexy,” the actress, 31, has told PEOPLE. “For me, a lot of that stuff is difficult.” Still, her skin-care regimen sounds pretty easy: “I just wear a lot of sunscreen. That’s it. Nothing more. I’m just lucky my grandma gave me great skin.

Wentworth Miller:

“I’ve been shaving my head on and off for years, but for a low-maintenance look, it takes a lot of maintenance – I have to cut it twice a week!”

Carrie Underwood:

“I had a couple of freckles on my face that I didn’t like, so I had them removed,” admits the 24-year-old country star. “And I remember one kid said, ‘Now I can’t play connect-the-dots on your face anymore!’ I’ll never forget that.”

Reese Witherspoon on Harper’s Bazaar

Reese Witherspoon on Harper's Bazaar

Reese Witherspoon is gracing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar for the month of April. The Oscar winning actress talks about her life now without Ryan Phillippe, her fashion style, turning 30 years old, and her life.

On her Golden Globes look:
“I felt like I looked different than I’ve ever looked. I don’t know why. I just did.”

On how she spent her 30th birthday:
“Playing Boggle and eating fried chicken.”

On out with the old, in with the new:
“I recently put a big pile of clothes on the floor of my closet, and I looked at a lot of the stuff and thought, ‘That’s not me at all! What was I thinking?’ [For Legally Blonde] I went through a pink phase like you wouldn’t belieeeve. Then there was a Marni phase when I was doing Sweet Home Alabama that was out of control.”

On her new love for Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens:
“I’ve used a stylist before, but these days I’m kind of just going with Olivier’s taste. He said, ‘I see you in yellow,’ and who’s to question him? He’s such an artist. He has so much visual information in his head that he just channels it into his work and creates amazing things.”

On being a generous friend:
“If I have to say anything about myself, I’m a really good girlfriend. And I give away a lot of shoes. It’s really nice to be me. And it’s really nice to be my friend who has the same shoe size.”

On her life:
“I look forward to my work. I love my children. At this time in my life, it’s about spending time with my kids, really connecting with my friends.”

“I’m very lucky. I have a really great life.”

After this interview, I am officially in love with Reese Witherspoon. It’s nice to hear a celebrity actually admit they have a really good life. Most of those spoiled punks complain about the paparazzi all the time. I like that Reese is admitting she had a great life, but not in a snotty way. That’s very cool of her. I’m glad she ditched Ryan Phillippe, he was a downer big time. I’d like to see Reese Witherspoon hook up with a legit guy.

Any suggestions for Reese?? I’m picturing a Colin Firth type of guy.

And for any of you that are big Reese Witherspoon fans like myself, you should really watch Best Laid Plans. It’s sort of older but I’d say that movie is pretty darn good. That, or check out Fear with her and Mark Wahlberg. Good stuff.
