I’m not sure how this is news at all, but I am running out of things to write about this morning so somehow this piece of gossip made the cut. Seriously, don’t ask me how.

Some producer guy named Ryan Kavanaugh who is apparently buddies with Jake, is telling people that Jake loves Reese. I’m sure Jake is loving that this guy is a big-mouth whoring him out to the tabloids but what can he do, really? Here’s what good old Ryan told People:

“[Jake] has obviously had his fair share of dating,” Kavanaugh says of Gyllenhaal’s romantic life. “I think eventually you come to a place where you know what you want and seeing what we saw on the set, he was certainly completely devoted to her and really loves her.”

Can what you see on the set really be trusted?  I mean, everyone thought Brad Pitt was cheating on Jennifer Aniston on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith because he was photographed hugging Angelina Jolie but look how that—ehh, ha, um, bad example. Okay, maybe Jake does love Reese but really, who cares? I can’t believe I just spent 5 minutes writing about this. Give me drama! Give me break-ups! Give me sex tapes! Anything but this crap.

Why wouldn’t Ryan give his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon and her current boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, his blessing? I mean, everyone knows that Ryan cheated on Reese with Abbie Cornish so he’s got no reason to not be happy for her. I bet he is such an insufferable prick that he just drove Reese away. She probably didn’t even want to be that big of a movie star but the only alternative was staying home with him all day. I bet he could never stand that she made way more money than he did. What a jerk.

Anyway, he told Howard Stern via radio that he is happy for Reese and Jake and that he likes Jake very much. I wonder if Reese is happy for Ryan and Abbie? Doubt it. I bet Ryan will go broke and fug within a couple of years. Seriously. Here’s what Ryan said:

“He’s a good dude. I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is.”

The 33-year-old added that his split from Witherspoon was a “mutual” decision. He said,

“Leading up to it, we had been spending so much time apart. That’s a huge part of it. There are so many obstacles.”

There are so many obstacles? You not being able to be happy for Reese because you’re so jealous is an obstacle. You not being able to keep it in your pants is also an obstacle. I love that Ryan tries to play it off like it wasn’t a big deal, though. I don’t think Reese is an angel, but I bet Ryan is such a bitch. Seriously.

The Hollywood Reporter has released a list of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood and I’ve got to say that I’m pretty surprised. I think half of the ladies on the list aren’t good actresses and that they make crappy movies. But I guess that doesn’t change their paycheck, does it? Here’s the list:

1. Reese Witherspoon – $15 to $20 million per pic
2. Angelina Jolie – $15 to $20 million (made only $8 million for Beowulf)
3. Cameron Diaz – $15 million
4. Nicole Kidman – $10 to $15 million
5. Renee Zellweger – $10 to $15 million

Don’t get me wrong, I love Reese Witherspoon but I can’t believe she makes that much. It’s a little bonkers. And Jodie Foster?! When is the last time she made a movie? Halle Berry has been making shitty movies since she won an Oscar and Drew Barrymore has a bad track record, too. I can’t believe these ladies make so much and some are so undeserving. I’m jealous, though, nonetheless!

I don’t know how this is any sort of breaking news, but somehow it is. People Magazine is reporting that Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon have been spotting in Napa Valley together on a mini-vacation.

As PEOPLE reports in its latest issue, Witherspoon, 31, and Gyllenhaal, 26, checked into the Carneros Inn in the Napa Valley last Sunday, and went on to spend a cozy 24-hours in one of the resort’s private homes.
“They were very affectionate with one another,” says an onlooker. “They were cuddling, and he kept giving her little kisses.”

The two even bailed on a couples massage in favor of an evening in, the source says, adding, “It was clear they wanted to be left alone.”

Um, aren’t couples allowed to go on vacation together? I think so. People are just surprised by this news because its still hard to believe these two are a couple, I think. I mean, I hope they’re happy but a part of me always thought Jake was gay and that Reese would be his shopping buddy. I was wrong! I’m glad they’re together and I hope they’re happy and I hope they can stay out of the tabloids for a while and just enjoy each other. As for Ryan Phillippe, well, karma is a bitch and you should’ve treated Reese better! (I’m going to eat those words later if we find out he wasn’t as big of a jerk as I thought!)

I was hoping this would turn out to be true! Finally pictures of Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon acting like a couple! There have been rumors about these two being a couple for like, a year! I seriously thought maybe Jake was Reese’s gay girlfriend but now that seems far away! They look really happy together… I wonder what Ryan Phillippe thinks? I read somewhere on the ‘net that these two were just acting like a couple to send hype towards their movie Rendition because it isn’t doing that well at the box office but I totally don’t see either one of them stooping that low! That’s an Angelina Jolie move, seriously! More pictures of the couple below.

For the last couple of months it has been an on-going rumor that newly divorced Reese Witherspoon is dating her Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. There are also rumors of Jake being in a gay relationship with a man for more than a couple of years. What to believe!?

I would like to think that Reese and Jake are together because I think Jake is way nicer of a guy that stupid Ryan Phillippe. But I’d also like to think that Jake is Reese’s girlfriend–her gay shopping and gossip buddy. I don’t know which they are but there are more stories coming out of the two being intimate lovers. E! Online reports:

“Jake and Reese were sitting by the fire all night, talking,” a fellow party guest tells me. “Everyone was talking, laughing and celebrating Rufus, but they were deep, deep in conversation. It was like there was no one else in the world.”

If you were wondering, the party they were supposedly “canoodling” at was at Carrie Fisher’s house. I don’t know if I really believe this story. I mean, I believe Carrie Fisher had a party, I believe that Reese and Jake probably went, and I believe there was a fireplace. Other than that, it’s pretty much all hear-say.
