Penelope Cruz, who is dating actor Javier Bardem, is rumored to be pregnant. Why? Because she quit smoking. A spy thinks this must mean she is expecting.

“She gave up smoking about five months ago, cold turkey. She just decided one day she wasn’t going to smoke, and just like that, she stopped…. She’s definitely looking heavier. Her boobs are bigger, and her stomach is hanging over her jeans. It could be pregnancy weight.”

I love that because she stopped smoking and gained a bit of weight (bringing her out of the abnormally skinny club) then she must be pregnant. Hey, maybe she realized smoking is 1) not cool and 2) causes cancer for real and then stopped and gained weight from eating to not smoke. Is that possible? Yes, but not as fun as thinking she’s knocked up with Javier Bardem’s bastard child.

Guess we’ll just have to see.
