Remember this morning when I posted about Owen Wilson being hospitalized? And rumors were going around that he had tried to commit suicide? Well, I didn’t think that could be true but I guess maybe I was wrong. (Me? Wrong? Never!) Because Owen’s people have come out with a statement that makes me believe otherwise. His peeps said,

“I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

Humm. This difficult time? If it’s just exhaustion and other crap, why would it be so difficult? Lindsay Lohan has been hospitalized for that shizz on more than one occasion and its never been a “difficult” time for her. Who knows? I hope that Owen is okay because I think he’s a really funny guy and he’s a great actor. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope, if its true, that he gets the help he needs!

Yesterday, Owen Wilson was taken to the hospital in Los Angeles. Now, I’ve read rumors on the internet that he was hospitalized due to a suicide attempt. The National Enquirer says that Owen popped a bunch of pills and slit his wrists, and was found by a family member just before noon yesterday. I’m not sure how true this is. In fact, I’d be willing to bet its a load of crap and Owen Wilson will definitely release some sort of statement denying that he was trying to kill himself. The Santa Monica police department released this statement:

“On Sunday Aug. 26. 2007 at 12:10 PM, officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street. The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated.”

TMZ is offering that Owen Wilson may have been exhausted and dehydrated. I’m not sure whats going on here but I don’t think the suicide thing is likely. Way different than he acts, at least. Owen’s brother was seen with Owen leaving the hospital this morning.

When Kate Hudson tells her family and friends that she is getting serious with actor Owen Wilson, you have to wonder if they say, “Oh, you’re serious with him the way you were serious with Chris Robinson? Oh, okay, COOL!” Because what’s more serious than marriage and children? Nothing, really. These Hollywood people don’t seem like they’re ever really serious with anyone.. not even themselves.

On a lighter note, however, I do think these two make an alright couple. I don’t think either of them are that good of actors, but they are nice to look at for the most part. If you like looking at a mini-Goldie Hawn then you’re in luck, and if you like looking at a less-cute version of Luke Wilson, you’re double in luck. But anyways, it sounds like the couple is getting quite serious with eachother.. for real.

The cute-as-pie couple stretched side-by-side on the potential launch-pad of their love life, locked in embrace and – as shoppers gawked – started counting down to blast-off! Owen kissed Kate…Kate kissed Owen…then Owen yelped: “Hey!” – and flinched as an elderly lady smacked his butt and snapped: “STOP! If you want to do that, get a room. I DON’T want to watch this!” Kate, red as a beet, jumped up and apologized as the older woman rolled her eyes – but hot-to-flop Owen quickly started talking price with the salesman. (Source)

Ahh, isn’t that just so romantic?! So cute. Actually, it’s not that cute, that doesn’t prove that they are serious, and it’s really sort of stupid. It just means they make-out in public like high schoolers and that Kate Hudson gets red when she’s embarrassed. Now that I know that, I can definitely start my day!

Woody Harrelson, while hanging out with his good buddy Owen Wilson, got into a fight at a bar in Venice Beach last week.

Woody was trying to exit the bar with two glasses of wine in his hands, which is against California State Law.

The bouncers, doing their job and actually just trying to help the Cheers actor out, tried to stop him from exiting.

Stop Woody from doing something? No way, buddy, he’s a celebrity and you better recognize it!

Woody “sucker-punched” the doormen and that’s when the fight broke out, according to the National Enquirer.

That started a full-scale brawl in the street, with a second bouncer joining in and wrestling Woody to the ground. Woody punched and scratched the bouncers and gouged a fingernail into one of their faces, just about [sic] the eye, said the bar source. “Blood was streaming down the bouncer’s face, and Woody cut his hand on the broken glass on the sidewalk… Blood was all over the place.” Two California Highway Patrol officers, who were writing a ticket across the street, raced over to stop the fight. “Woody was still flaling away, and the officers ended up cuffing him and putting him in the back of a squad car while they tried to sort out the mess…”

It is said that when the fight started, Owen Wilson cleared the scene. Smart move, buddy!
