Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson are Dating

Am I the only one who is constantly confused by celebrities? I mean, if you’re in rehab for ANYTHING then you need to take some time for yourself–a year maybe–and just relax. Why are these rehabbed celebrities so quick to jump back into the swing? They’ve got the resources to take time off yet they just don’t! I don’t get it. I am pretty sure after attempting suicide the last thing you need to do is get into a relationship with another high-profile person who has her own relationship woes. But Owen Wilson doesn’t care, apparently. It’s rumored that he’s dating Jessica Simpson. The two were spotted having having dinner in Santa Monica last night. They looked cozy.

“He couldn’t keep his hands off her.” Apparently, sparks flew between the two Texans when they were in Austin on Oct. 16 to appear in a video with Willie Nelson.

Well a relationship that starts out really hands on usually leads to a bitter break-up. Like, for instance, Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie. That crashed and burned pretty hard, didn’t it? Let’s hope Owen gets it together and keeps clear from the ladies, especially Jessica.

Kate Hudson Breaks Up with Dax Shepard, Wants Owen Wilson Back

Just months after Owen Wilson’s suicide attempt, his ex-girlfriend, Kate Hudson, wants him back. Feeling guilty, Kate?

Kate Hudson broke up with her actor boyfriend Dax Shepard apparently to try and get back together with Owen Wilson. A source close to Kate said,

“It was working out between her and Dax, but it’s a clean break. After Owen’s suicide attempt, she realized how much she loved him, and broke up with Dax.”

I hate to say this, cause it’s pretty crappy, but I wonder if Kate just wants to get back together with Owen because it would bring her a lot of attention from the media, tabloids, and celebrity news blogs. Is that a horrible thing to wonder? I mean, I think she probably really has feelings for Owen, don’t get me wrong there, but I think big celebrities probably think about everything before they make a move. I think if this story is true, she probably is considering what getting back together with Owen will do to her career, and his own career, too.

With all that said, if I’m completely wrong, I wish Owen a long, healthy recovery with no more relapses and I also with him a good relationship with Kate. May it work out for them!

Ben Stiller Talks About Owen Wilson

Ben Stiller was on the Ellen Degenres show where he talked to Ellen about his friend and co-star (of many movies) Owen Wilson.

In case you aren’t up to date, Owen Wilson was recently admitted to a hospital in an attempt to commit suicide. Owen has been battled a drug problem along with depression for many years.

Ben told Ellen,

“He’s doing really well,” Stiller, 41, tells Ellen DeGeneres on her show Friday.

“I sort of like to protect his privacy, ’cause I feel like it’s his own thing,” says Stiller. “But he’s a really good friend of mine. He’s an incredible guy and I wish him as everybody does, all the best.”

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson have co-starred in many movies such as Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch, and others. Ben Stiller’s father, Jerry Stiller, said he was surprised to her about Owen’s suicide and attempt but also said he was sure that he would pull through.

Wilson, who was set to film Tropic Thunder with Ben Stiller, had to pull out at the last minute because he was hospitalized. Stiller is still involved in that project. I think its good Ben didn’t say much–he’s a real friend.

New Development in Owen Wilson’s Suicide Attempt

If you’re one of the many people sick of hearing that Owen Wilson was depressed and tried to commit suicide because of Kate Hudson, I’ve got news for you! New, more accurate reports are saying that not only was Kate not the cause but she was not even a factor. I think we all kind of knew that already, didn’t we? The media really wanted to put her in the mix to make a better headline. Fact is, Owen Wilson is just a depressed man with emotional problems. Sources say,

“A good portion of his (Wilson’s) life has been dedicated to fighting depression and addiction… This is the third time he’s tried killing himself.”

And the source insists Wilson’s break-up with girlfriend Kate Hudson wasn’t to blame for the suicide attempt, as has been suggested – he was actually distraught after failing to come up with material for a friend’s film project.

The insider adds, “Owen felt demoralized after letting down his pal.”

I really am glad that people are finally clearing Kate from this. I know the media put her in, but I’m sure people were believing it. Hell, until I had the internet I would just read tabloids and I ate it up with a spoon. But anyway, I really hope Owen Wilson goes to a treatment center and gets healthy. He’s way to talented to suffer. They make medicine and have programs to get you better, Owen. Go to them!

Oh, and there is a “Blind Item” in the news this morning. I am assuming it is about Luke Wilson, which is sad, because I really love Luke Wilson too. Here’s what it says,

Which actor with a troubled brother might want to deal with some issues of his own? He is constantly drunk on the set of his current film, say spies. (Source)

This is sad, if it’s him. I really hope it’s not because now I’m worried that Luke might be depressed, too! Here I am worrying about people I’ve never met. Sort of silly, I guess, but I think they’re both really great actors. I hope he gets better!

Wilson’s Want Kate Hudson to Stay Away from Owen

First let me say that insinuating that someone is possibly the reason for another person’s suicide attempt is very cold. Regardless of what is known to the family, or what Owen has said to them, I think if the Wilson family is sending messages to Kate that her presence is unwanted because she is possibly the reason this started, that’s pretty mean. I think it’s horrible that Owen is depressed and that he tried to off himself. That’s terribly sad. But how does placing the blame on someone change anything? It only hurts another person and that’s definitely not doing any good. They could just tell her that he isn’t in a place to see people instead of saying its just her. I don’t know. It’s a really tough place to be in for her and for the Wilson family. Rumors are flying.

“Kate has been trying to get in touch with Owen and is distraught that the family doesn’t want her anywhere near him,” says a pal. “She is very frustrated.” Hudson and Wilson began an on-and-off romance after shooting “You, Me and Dupree.” The relationship fizzled despite several attempts, including a visit by Wilson to Hudson’s secluded Australian film set this year.

Wilson, who was hospitalized in Los Angeles after a drug overdose and suicide attempt, has since been battling depression. And some think hearing from his ex wouldn’t help. The insider added: “[Owen’s family members] don’t think Kate is good for him.”

I hope that Kate realizes that depression is an illness and that she shouldn’t blame herself! Anyway, lets all hope that Owen Wilson gets better and gets the help he needs. I can’t wait to see him back on the big screen making funny movies with Vince Vaughn and his brother, Luke Wilson!

Owen Wilson is Depressed

According to The New York Post, Owen Wilson tried to kill himself with sleeping pills and by slitting his wrists after he got into a very heated argument with a close friend. He was found covered in blood, in a bad state by one of his brothers. Sources say that Owen has been suffering from depression for many years, off and on.

This is the kind of story that pretty much shocks you. You wouldn’t expect this to be true because Owen always plays such a funny and happy guy in the movies. That’s why I didn’t think it was true. But knowing now that he’s been battling depression… anything is possible. Anyone can get depressed. I guess it just goes to show you that having money and being famous isn’t the best life ever, you can still be depressed.

I think everyone hopes Owen gets better, both physically and mentally.

I wonder what Kate Hudson thinks of this? She’s way too into Dax Sheppard to care, I’m sure. I wonder if this was really a suicide attempt? I mean, not saying I think it’s anything else but the chances of it being an accidental drug overdose are probably pretty good. It seems like everyone does drugs, and adding depression and a fight to the mix really boosts the likelihood of drugs being involved. What do you think?

UPDATE: Here is a police log that Extra got a hold of. This is “proving” that Owen Wilson, indeed, tried to commit suicide. Think its real? Click below to check it out.
