I pretty much assumed that any celebrity who is famous on MTV is probably an asshole in real life. Don’t question me on my reasoning because to be quite honest, I have none. I just wasn’t surprised to hear that Nelly Furtado is a jerk when she goes to restaurants.

Guy Rubino, owner of Toronto’s Asian restaurant Rain, is a celebrity chef who says he deals with many catty celebrities. The worst? Nelly Furtado. Who’d a thunk it?! Guy says,

Nelly Furtado made a reservation for 10 guests…She showed up an hour late, with five extra people in tow,” [Rubino] said. “For parties that size, we do a prix-fixe type of menu. Nelly objected and was really rude about it. She expected individual dishes to be prepared. Her manager even came into the kitchen and had the gall to say, ‘Just fucking do it!’ I told her that she and her client could ‘just fucking LEAVE.’”….Rubino also sniffed at Justin Timberlake’s restaurant manners. “Timberlake comes into Rain, doesn’t even look at the menu and shouts for random food that we don’t make…If he knew what he wanted, why come to an Asian restaurant in the first place?”

Dang, it’s like that huh?  Well famous people can pretty much get away with treating anyone anyway they want and that’s the sad truth. This doesn’t surprise me. I can see both Nelly and Justin being big-headed divas who want nothing but what they want and go to Rain just because of the status. What jerks!

With that said, I still think Justin Timberlake is a musical and performing genius. Nelly Furtado is mediocre to me, at best. If I had a restaurant, I’d kick her out!

Here is a list of the winners from tonights Video Music Awards that were on MTV. It’s funny because I was worried about missing Britney’s performance but all of my friends reassured me that MTV would play the program over and over for the next month. Then I read online that MTV said they were breaking that habit and decided they wouldn’t re-run the show. So, of course, I watched it. Then I read on the internet that on the East coast, it’s already being replayed. So if any of you guys missed the Britney Spears performance, it will be on again. No worries! I’m disappointed that Fergie was a no-show because I totally like Fergie. I bet she would’ve looked hot. I’m also a bit peeved that the cameras didn’t find Justin Timberlake during Britney’s performance. I wanted to see his face! Nelly Furtado showed up to Jet in Las Vegas last night with orange-yellow hair. I realize it is supposed to be blond, but it really looks golden orange. Doesn’t it? I think she looks better as a brunette, personally, but then again I really don’t care what she looks like either. I don’t dislike her or anything but she definitely slips under my radar of care.

On a pleasant note, she is scheduled to perform at the MTV VMA’s tomorrow night, tentatively. I hope it’s a good show. Everyone who performs has to do an extra good job to make up for Britney’s probably-crappy opener! Ha!

This news doesn’t interest me at all because Nelly Furtado has always managed to slip under my care radar. She’s like that person at work who always talks to you when you’re in the middle of typing a sentence or speaking a thought to someone else, and then they just start talking to you, immediately seeking a reply but they’re failure to notice that you’re already busy constantly gets them ignored. Then, by the time you are free, they are already gone but you’re sitting there thinking how little you care. Or maybe that’s just me?

Seems that Nelly Furtado, who has a 3-year old daughter with another man, is engaged to be married to her boyfriend of a year or so. Demacio Castellon, a sound engineer, will be Nelly’s first marriage (if this actually happens). Nelly has said about marriage,

I’m kind of modern. I don’t really live by society’s standards. Maybe in the next five years I’ll get married, have more kids. One grandmother had eight kids, the other had 10. If I have that many kids, then I would need a hubby.

What grandmother is she talking about? This quote doesn’t make any sense. Maybe she’s love sick off JT. Seems like all they do is make songs together these days. Hmm. Yet her fiance looks nothing like Justin. He honestly reminds me of that weird looking dude that Liza Minelli married. Gest? Guest? What the hells his name?

And the claws come out! I really don’t like to hear about Fergie being a biatch because I like her and I don’t want to know if she’s a diva behind closed doors. But the other side to that argument is, if someone is dissing her, I definitely want to know that she’s standing up for herself. Unfortunately, in this case, we will never really know “who started it” and if we knew, would we feel any better?! So here’s the beef:

Fergie is accusing Nelly Furtado of wearing a wig. In her new song “Impacto” with rapper Daddy Yankee, Fergie accuses Furtado in the song of wearing a wig! She sings, “I ain’t promiscuous, the realest chick up in this.
