Actor Matthew Fox (the hottest islander on LOST) made it in the news today. I’ve pretty much liked him for a while but he’s only been in 3 movies and I’ve already watched all seasons of LOST nearly three times. So when he makes it in the news I’m thrilled. Even if it is for cheating on his wife. (Hey, a dog’s gotta eat. I’m not saying it’s right but still!)

While filming in Bend, Oregon the actor hit up a strip club and apparently took home one of the dancers. The stripper, Stefani Talbott, tells InTouch and National Enquirer:

“I was dancing onstage, and I made eye contact with him immediately. I got so excited. He asked me, ‘Why are you working in a place like this?’ I told him that I am a single mom and needed the money.”

“Yes, I’ve been having an affair with Matthew Fox. We had sex together. I’ve kept voice mails and text messages from him.”

I’m looking at this girl going “Why?”  I mean, if someone said “2 + 2 = 5″ you would say “No, that doesn’t add up.” That’s what’s going on here. Matthew Fox’s hotness + mediocre stripped from Bend, Oregon = ??? because it doesn’t add up. In interviews Matthew credits his wife of 18 years, former model Margherita Ronchi, to teaching him how to swim and being a great partner in marriage. They have two children together.

If this is true, I’m not surprised. All the stuff he’s said/I’ve read leads me to believe he likes to party. Let’s just hope if his wife leaves him he doesn’t become a burn out!

Maybe his wife is okay with this type of stuff?

Normally I hate Valentine’s Day. I am one of those people that believes that this holiday is all about marketing and making money. And so my husband and I don’t buy into it in any way. But I can always count on my trusty friend The Internet to come up with some pretty funny crap on Valentine’s Day. This year? Valentine’s Day cards spoofing ABC’s series LOST. I like these because I am (admittedly) a LOST fan and more specifically, I love Matthew Fox and Terry O’Quinn. And because this is LOST’s final season, I felt compelled to post these, even though I usually limit my TV posts to Real Housewives. These are funny (if you watch LOST) so enjoy and have a good Valentine’s Day… just don’t buy any flowers/cards/candy!

Wow. After years of having a crush on Matthew Fox he finally comes into the news somehow. I was beginning to think I would never get a chance to write about him. I mean, I don’t do many TV posts and he doesn’t do many movies so I really thought I was screwed. But now that he’s announcing he will no longer do TV, I have a reason to write about him. A very, very sad reason. He told reporters at the Sunset on the Beach premiere of the 6th and final season of his hit TV show LOST:

“I think this will be the last time you see me on TV. I’m either going to do the kind of things I want to do in the film world, or maybe I’ll just do something else entirely.”

You mean, playing this guy wasn’t the “kind of thing” you wanted to do in the film world, Matthew? I’m sorry. I love you but I couldn’t resist!

Let’s hope he makes his way to the big screen with a really great role. A super hero? An academy award nominated drama? He’s a great actor, he could pull it off!
