No Drugs for Kelly Clarkson

This isn’t even interesting because I don’t care whether or not Kelly Clarkson does drugs. But it’s a slow day for news so I thought I’d put it up anyway. Everyone else who has mentioned this story has joked about Kelly mentioning calories in this quote, because she’s gained so much weight. But I’m not even going to go there, not this time. Kelly’s interview with USA Weekend comes out tomorrow and here’s the most memorable quote:

“It was in Amsterdam. It is legal there, and it is not legal here. I don’t ever do anything illegal here. I have never smoked anything in my life. I’ve never tried any drugs. I wouldn’t do anything that would cause holes in your brain or your nasal cavity. Call me Texan, but I don’t think of marijuana like that. I don’t understand people who drink too much. I think, ‘Why do you drink so much? It just adds calories.’ ”

Makes me wonder if all celebrities are really calorie conscious or not. Because I always see celebrities drinking Coke’s and Vitamin waters and both of those are loaded with calories and sugar. Well whatever. Good for Kelly for not doing drugs. That separates her from Paris, Britney, Nicole and Lindsay at least.

Kelly Clarkson is a Bad Ass

Or so she says she is. When people tell stories about people that have pissed them off, more often than not they always come back with some stand-up response, where they tell someone off and it’s this grand thing. The percentage of times that what they tell you they said is actually true? Slim to none. Maybe 5% I’d say. So Kelly Clarkson just told Blender Magazine that when Clive Davis told her he thought he album was shit and that it wouldn’t sell, she told him what’s up. If she really said the stuff she said she did, that’s great. If not, she’s just a little liarface and I’m tired of liarfaces’s.

I don’t know you very well, and I am not a bull-shitter. I get [that] you don’t like the album. You’re 80; you’re not supposed to like my album. I literally got told to my face that it wouldn’t sell more than 600,000 copies. And I got lied to. One reason I don’t like working with people at the label is that they lie . . . If you’re going with the flow and not fighting, that’s settling. I can’t take that. Life is just too short to be a pushover. (Source)

What is so sweet about this story is that, if Kelly really ran her mouth to Clive Davis like that, then she is getting a sweet thing called Satisfaction. Kelly’s album is doing surprisingly good, although she’s had no hit single as of yet. Good luck to her. I’m glad she is sticking it to the man!

Kelly Clarkson is “Just A Little Girl”

Try not to drool on yourself while you look at this extremely hot picture of Kelly Clarkson. (In case you didn’t pick up on that slight sarcasm, let me tell you right now that I was being sarcastic.) Once she won American Idol, Kelly Clarkson turned into an obnoxious diva. I definitely think she is a talented singer and a good writer, but I think her head is about fifty sizes bigger than it should be. Last year, Clarkson dated a guy (still trying to hide that she’s a lesbian I guess) who cheated on her. She’s now speaking out about it.

“My standards were low because I was lonely,” she said. “I met this musician, not a famous musician–he doesn’t even deserved to be named–and I thought he was totally into me. And then you find out, oh God, that he had this whole other relationship on the side, and that he is only dating you to get into pictures and to become famous.”

Unless she loved the guy, I say dump him cause he cheated and forget about it. I don’t think Mariah Carey is making all those hits about cheating and love from a guy she dated for a couple of weeks. Kelly just needs attention and so does her ex. If you don’t know who he is, his name is David Hodges. And now that he’s heard Kelly’s new song “Never Again” and realized it’s about him, he’s written his own song called “Just A Little Girl,” which is about Clarkson. Song wars! This is worse than when Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears wrote songs about eachother but wouldn’t admit that they were about eachother. Okay, JT, “Cry Me a River” isn’t about Britney. What-EV. If you’re interested in checking out David’s song about Kelly, you can read the lyrics on his website here. If you’re not, I don’t blame you because I’m not either.

Kelly Clarkson Must Be Stressed

Kelly Clarkson is at some event doing something, but that’s all beside the point because she looks like she’s gained about 30 pounds. Hey, I personally don’t care if she’s gains 70 pounds as long as she still makes good music. But you know who will care that she’s gained weight? The tabloids. America. The world. Everyone in the business. So true!

I think you’ll be reading some really mean stuff about Kelly’s new body. That’s sad, though, because maybe she just hates exercise? And I can’t disagree with her if she loves food. It’s hard, and being in the spotlight is probably hard, too. I sorta feel bad for her.

And hey, if you like staying up on celebrities bodies–who’s got fat, who got skinny, who’s scary skinny, who’s getting work done–then you should ceck out The Skinny Website. It’s all about celebrities fluctuating weight. It’s great–check it out!

Anyway.. Kelly Clarkson got bigger. Sort sad. Look at her knees. Yikes!

Here’s a blurb about Kelly Clarkson:

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American singer-songwriter and actress who has enjoyed success in the pop and rock music genres. Clarkson made her debut under RCA Records after she won the highly publicized first season of the television series American Idol in 2002. She was originally marketed as a pop musician with her debut album Thankful (2003). With the release of her multi-platinum sophomore album Breakaway (2004), Clarkson moved to a more pop rock-oriented style of music,[1] and won two Grammy Awards. Clarkson’s new album, entitled My December, is scheduled to be released in mid-2007. (Source)
