Katherine Heigl Got Married

Knocked Up star Katherine Heigl, who has recently been in the tabloids for being ungrateful and badmouthing Judd Apatow (director of Knocked Up), got married to singer Josh Kelley in Park City, Utah on Sunday December 23rd. According to sources, her Grey’s Anatomy co-stars like Sandra Oh, T.R. Knight, and Kate Walsh were in attendance. Congratulations to her and her new hubby, Josh!

Does anyone want to make predictions on A. how long the marriage will last, B. what will be the cause of the marriage failing, and C. who will dump who? I’ve got a Starbucks gift card (maybe) for the person who gets all three of these right!

Oh, and like I said earlier today, Merry Christmas Eve :) (What can I say, the holidays make me evil!)

Katherine Heigl is Annoying

Ever since I saw Katherine Heigl in that movie Knocked Up, I really liked her because I thought she did a good job in it. That movie, if you haven’t already seen it, is seriously hilarious and I recommended watching it with a group of friends on a Friday night. But anyway, back to Katherine Heigl. I liked her after I saw her in that movie but everytime I see her on the street or read an interview she’s done, she’s so sassy like she’s way too good for everyone and everything. And now she’s knocking on her own movie, like she’s too good for it!

“It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys. It was hard for me to love the movie.”

That movie, no matter how it showed women, made Katherine Heigl $300,000 just for the paycheck. Now she can ask for $6 million per movie, that’s how popular she got! Yet she still has the gall to bitch about the movie! I don’t get it. I think she should be grateful and not bitchy. Seriously.

When will these greedy Hollywood people realize they lose fans from saying the wrong things?!

The 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards

Did you watch the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles today? If you didn’t, here is a list of the winners, along with pictures of some of the celebrities that were there. I didn’t watch them because I was at a family function when they started. The Emmys are so damn long that even if I was home, I doubt I could’ve kept interest through the whole thing. Anyway, here we go. Primetime Emmy Awards winners:

Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series
Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold, HBO’s EntourageOutstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series
Terry O’Quinn as John Locke, ABC’s LostOutstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series
Jaime Pressly as Joy Turner, NBC’s My Name Is EarlOutstanding Supporting Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie
Thomas Haden Church as Tom Harte, AMC’s Broken Trail Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series
Katherine Heigl
as Isobel ‘Izzie’ Stevens, ABC’s Grey’s AnatomyOutstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series
Ricky Gervais as Andy Millman, HBO’s ExtrasOutstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series
Sally Field
as Nora Walker, ABC’s Brothers & SistersOutstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series
America Ferrera
as Betty Suarez, ABC’s Ugly BettyOutstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series
James Spader
as

Alan Shore, ABC’s Boston LegalOutstanding Comedy Series
NBC’s 30 RockOutstanding Drama Series
HBO’s The Sopranos

Yay! The Sopranos won. That was totally my favorite show. I sort of wanted The Sopranos to totally sweep the Emmy’s because they won’t get the chance to anymore. But at least they won a couple awards. (Edit: I only posted the fun awards.. none of the technical awards or the directing type of awards. Sorry!) Check out the celebrity pictures below. I love Katherine Heigl and Ali Larter. They look hot!

Quotes from People’s Most Beautiful People of 2007

People Magazine voted Drew Barrymore the World’s Most Beautiful Person, and then there was a list of other celebs who made the beautiful people list. Some of the choices are questionable, but whatever. Here’s what Drew and the others said, about being beautiful and other beautiful random stuff.

Drew Barrymore on when she feels beautiful:

“Right after I’ve worked out and I’m sweating all over the place and my face is two different colors of white and red and my hair is half wet, half dry and I look like I’m about to have a heart attack. I feel like I’ve changed the shape of my body temporarily into something more flexible and strong.”

Scarlett Johansson said:

“My hair is such a disaster. I never blow-dry. I can’t do my hair at all. It?s just a burden,” admits the star ofThe Nanny Diaries. But the 22-year-old does like one specific part of her anatomy: “I think I have really good feet. They’re cute!”

Jennifer Aniston on yoga:

“I’ve had everything from deep laughter to deep sadness, where I was crying through moves,” she told Self magazine. “It’s good to get that stuff out. You feel like you’re having a therapy session, a workout and a meditation at the same time.”

Patrick Dempsey:

“The gray hairs certainly have come in the last few months,” says the 41-year-old of the grey in his anatomy. “The last year has been difficult on many levels, with the show moving to Thursday night, and everything that happened this year, and worrying that everything was going to go all right with the boys [newborns Darby and Sullivan] and my wife [Jill, age 41]. But they’ve ceased to come in as quickly.”

Halle Berry on aging:

“My choices today reflect the way I feel about myself – I’m happier than I’ve ever been and very comfortable being who and what I am. My current look is confident and sophisticated, with a bit of an edge but always comfortable.”

Jennifer Garner on Violet and Ben:

“Ben and I like more things in ourselves that we now see reflected in Violet. To see my dimples in her makes me like my dimples because I share them with her.”

Katherine Heigl:

“Hair to me is not a priority. All I ever do is throw it in a bun,” admits the Grey’s Anatomy star, 28. “The only thing I know how to do is hot rollers, which is sort of over. I can’t style bangs even though I love them and I’m always like, ‘Let’s cut some bangs!’ And then I’m stuck with hair I can’t figure out.”

Matthew McConaughey:

“I can be pretty vain. Vanity’s not so bad,” admits the 37-year-old. “Look, do I work out because I like to look good? Yes, that part’s vanity. Do I work out because it makes me feel better? Yes, and that’s not vanity.”

Jennifer Lopez:

“I like to look good for Marc,” she says of her husband, Marc Anthony. As for her beauty routine? “I don’t use a lot of expensive creams,” says Lopez, 37. “It’s more simple: mild cleanser, sunscreen and lots of water.”

Eric Bana:

“People in L.A. look too good to me. It’s important to keep flaws,” the 38-year-old Aussie says. In fact, the Lucky You star says his best look comes purely by accident: “I look my best when I take my helmet off after a long motorcycle ride. I have a glow and a bit of helmet hair.”

Kerry Washington:

“When I first started meeting with agents, I remember one immediately telling me all the things I had to change: I’d have to get my teeth fixed, lose weight,” remembers the 30-year-old actress, next in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. “Then I met with another agent two weeks later who was like, ‘You’re perfect – let’s start.’ That’s a good rule to follow: Go where the love is.”

Pete Wentz on the rockstar life and eyeliner:

“I get a ton of under-eye circles because I don’t sleep. Usually I’ll just put on more eye makeup and let it blur in.”

Helen Mirren on staying sexy:

“Number one, I have never smoked. When you are young, you seem indestructible. As you get older, you realize how much it’s helping you. I’ve never done anything to excess, really.” She also thanks her “fundamentally sunny nature,” saying, “unhappiness etches itself on one’s face very quickly.”

Reese Witherspoon:

“Some people are effortlessly glamorous and sexy,” the actress, 31, has told PEOPLE. “For me, a lot of that stuff is difficult.” Still, her skin-care regimen sounds pretty easy: “I just wear a lot of sunscreen. That’s it. Nothing more. I’m just lucky my grandma gave me great skin.

Wentworth Miller:

“I’ve been shaving my head on and off for years, but for a low-maintenance look, it takes a lot of maintenance – I have to cut it twice a week!”

Carrie Underwood:

“I had a couple of freckles on my face that I didn’t like, so I had them removed,” admits the 24-year-old country star. “And I remember one kid said, ‘Now I can’t play connect-the-dots on your face anymore!’ I’ll never forget that.”

GLAAD Awards at the Kodak Theatre in L.A.

GLAAD Awards

Here are pictures from the GLAAD Awards last night in L.A.

The GLAAD Media Awards were created in 1990 by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to recognize and honor the media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives. (Source)

I like the picture of Jake Gyllenhaal and Jennifer Aniston the best because they look happy. Maybe they should be a couple? I can’t evevn believe how insanely hot Jake Gyllenhaal really is. Gorgeous. And he and Jennifer Aniston make a really clean couple. Sorry, Reese. Now I sort of want to watch The Good Girl again, since they’re both in it.

Of some of the pictures, there is one of Rebecca Romijn, who won an award for her work as a transgender person in the series Ugly Betty. I’ve never seen that show but I have to say, it looks really cheesy and stupid to me. And I am definitely not a fan of America Ferrera. It has nothing to do with her being chubby either, I just don’t think she’s that great of an actress. If I wanted to watch a story about an ugly duckling in the fashion industry who turns it around, I’d watch The Devil Wears Prada.

There are other pictures of some other people below, too. Like Katherine Heigl from Grey’s Anatomy, and Lance Bass. He’s gotten so much attention in the last year just for saying he’s gay. I mean, a lot of people probably come out everyday and aren’t given that much attention. He’s gay, we get it, but unless he’s making a new album or actually going to outer space like he said he was, then I really don’t care, you know?
