Oh my God, talk about not learning from other peoples mistakes!

OK! Magazine is claiming that Joe Simpson, Ashlee’s daddy and manager, is in talks with MTV for Ashlee and Pete to get their own reality show titled Newlyweds. The show, of course, will be filmed after Ashlee and Pete get married and will be a spin-off of her older sister Jessica‘s reality show that she made with her now ex-husband Nick Lachey.

Here’s the hilarious part about this article. Joe Simpson “knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect.”

Isn’t that the meanest thing your dad could say about you? “I know no one cares about you, that’s why we’ve gotta whore you out to MTV!” All families that produce famous children are messed up, doesn’t it seem like it? I mean, Britney Spears is a tragic mess and so is her family.

I think Ashlee Simpson should take into account how many happy couples get reality shows and then break up. Besides Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey there is Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker.. I mean, it ain’t looking so good to do a reality show with these statistics, right?

I guess it depends on one thing: how famous do these two really want to be and what are they knowingly willing to risk to get that fame?

Jessica Simpson is currently in Kuwait performing for the troops for Operation Myspace. Jessica can’t sell albums and do real concerts, so she’s resorted to doing this type of stuff. She does it to make her look giving and heroic but reality is that no one wants to see her sing so she’s forcing it on the troops. Hell, they’d probably rather see Kathy Griffin‘s stand-up than listen to Jessica Simpson.

Anyway, Jess is supposed to be doing this for the troops. She’s supposed to be bunking with them and everything. Apparently Jess’s manager, Joe Simpson, is worried she won’t perform to her abilities if she doesn’t sleep in a bed in a hotel room. She chartered a private jet for $150,000 to take her to Kuwait. What did that have to do with her performance? Jessica is just a stuck up diva. She’s doing all this for media attention but as soon as the cameras are gone that little bitch flies the coop. I’ve got her number.

Tara Reid was filming a show called Wild On on the E! network. She reportedly followed Paris Hilton around with a camera, trying to make her on the show to get the show more viewers. Paris Hilton asked the network for Tara to stop taping her.

Pamela Anderson wore a see through black dress to the Comedy Central Roast of herself. No one was surprised by seeing her boobs.

Joe Simpson, as Jessica Simpsons manager, made a deal with OK! Magazine worth $200,000, promising Jessica would be on the cover of not one but seven covers of the magazine. This tied Jessica in with OK! so that she could not appear on any other magazine covers.

Matt LeBlanc apologized to his wife and daughter after he went to a strip club and cheated on his wife. Matt claims he fell into a “stripper trap” and didn’t know what he was doing.

Kelly Osbourne tells America that everybody does drugs, even the skinny blonde girls that you don’t think would. Oh, and she does drugs too, of course.

I’ve got to say Jessica Simpson looks like crap in this picture. Besides her huge boobs popping out, she just looks blah. Her messed up front teeth are more noticable from this half-side view. Also, I don’t think I’d ever stand that close to my own dad when that much of my boobies were showing.

Anyway, Jessica Simpson must be making money from something. I know all her movies have sucked, she can’t sing and that’s been proved because no one buys her cds, she isn’t high-profile anymore, and well… what does she do? She must do something because apparently she’s LOADED.

It’s not even the third Sunday in June, but Jessica Simpson plonked down $300,000 for a black Ferrari to thank manager-dad Joe for producing her new flick, “Blonde Ambition.” “Joe has wanted this Ferrari for a long time, but he wouldn’t consider getting one since they are so expensive,” a family insider tells In Touch Weekly. Wow, what a nice gift. When CaCee Cobb was her assistant, she bought her a new car, too. This makes me think one of two things could be possible: 1. Jessica is legitimately a giver and wants to be nice and share her wealth or 2. Jessica wants people to think she is honest and giving, but she really just does things for show or for attention.
