Two news stories involving 90210 alum in the same week?! It’s almost too much for me to bear. I loved 90210 so much that reading about Donna Martin and Steve Sanders is going to make me go out and buy 90210 on DVD and watch it ALL DAY. So this story isn’t about Donna Martin, but I thought I’d stick with the whole “Donna Martin Graduates” theme when I write about people from 90210.

So rumor has it that Ian Ziering, better known as Steve Sanders (sadly, I think more people would know him as Steve than his real name), is in the running to take over for Bob Barker on The Price is Right.

Not only do I think this would be a mistake for that show, but I think there’s a good chance it would be like when Family Feud was hosted by Al from Home Improvement and then it started to go down the pooper. I definitely think Steve Sanders is cuter and everything, and more young chicks would rather look at him than Rosie O’Donnell or Bob Barker, but I gotta say his personality is a little less than entertaining. Hell, if he got the job and then acted like Steve Sanders and had guest appearances by Brandon Walsh, Kelly Martin and Donna Martin.. I’d watch. I’d totally watch. But just Steve Sanders being Ian Ziering? Not so much.

It might be happening, though. It was in the New York Daily News today that Ian got a call-back from Bob Barker’s people. Sources say he has been more than ecstatic about possibly hosting the show. (Of course he is, Steve hasn’t worked in years! And Dancing With The Stars totally doesn’t count. He probably paid them!!)

Ian is running against Mario Lopez, John O’Hurley, Mark Steines, Todd Newton, and George Hamilton. Good luck to all these D-Listers!!

Ian Ziering, known to all as Steve Sanders from 90210, is now on the television show Dancing With The Stars. You may or may not have known that he was on that show, but he is easily being overshadowed because of that Heather Mills chick.

Whatever, I don’t watch the show but something I do know is that Steve Sanders was like, my favorite and he’s soo hot. He’s got a killer bod, too. I remember the first episode he had a convertible and everyone was in awe (including me). Damn those were some goodtimes, weren’t they?

Well, it seems that Playgirl magazine ALSO thinks Steve is hot because they are asking him to pose NUDE for $100,000. He is considering it. I’m thinking he should do it. I want to see him naked, and if that’s not reason enough, there are never re-runs of 90210 on anymore so I’m sure he’s running low on those checks. (Source)

David Silver, real name Brian Austin Green, another star of 90210 also posed nude for the magazine. I never saw those pictures. I never want to.

If Steve decides to take the offer, he must wait until Dancing With The Stars is over or until he is kicked off. Dancing With The Stars is owned by Disney, and I don’t think Disney wants to be supporting Steve Sanders when he shows his weenie to the public.
