The 18-year-old Harry Potter actress, Emma Watson, has just landed a hot ass deal! She is the new face of Chanel, taking the place of skin-and-bones Keira Knightley. Emma’s contract is rumored to be worth a cool $6 million. As of now, she is worth around $15 million already. Wow! That’s a lot of money for such a young girl. I think she’s a cute little actress and I hope she goes far. Being the face of Chanel is hot for her career.. congrats to her!

I don’t know much about Emma Watson on a personal level, but I do think she’s one of the cutest little actresses out there! She’s just adorable and I really liked her in the Harry Potter movies. Of course, I am a little bit of an anglophile so perhaps its partly that talking? Either way I think she’s quite talented for a young actress and she’s got a natural beauty to boot. I hope to see her go far in her career and keep living across the pond–doesn’t it seem like the majority of troubled young actresses are the ones from America? I mean, I’m not saying they don’t have problems over there I’m just saying any problem you might have is only emphasized over here. I hope that doesn’t happen to cute little Emma Watson!

Emma Watson, the Brit star who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie series, apparently feels as if she is too big of a hollywood celebrity. The tween, who has already appeared in the first five films, but no longer wants to be a part of them.
Daniel Radcliffe is already signed up to star as the quidditch-playing wizard and Rupert Grint will again play Harry’s best pal Ron Weasley. He told us: “Emma doesn’t want to do it any more. She’s tired of being known as ‘that girl from Harry Potter’.” Rupert added: “Daniel and I are distant from her now. We don’t text or talk to her when we are not filming.” Their last film together — Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix — comes out in July … Warner Brothers confirmed Emma has not signed for more movies. This morning BBC ran a story about Warner Brothers and they said that nothing was set in stone yet and that they are “extremely confident” that Emma will be back for films six and seven.
She doesn’t want to be known as the girl from Harry Potter? Really? She doesn’t? Well how about she give back that boat load of money she got from being the girl from Harry Potter. This is the shit I hate. When little tweens become a hollywood celebrity and they think they are too good for stuff that made them famous. Example: Hilary Duff also got too big for her britches and ditched out on Lizzy Maguire. DUMB. I hate this more, though, because I love the Harry Potter movies and if they have to replace Hermione I’m going to boycott them. Hell, I’m going to start a boycott club in hopes of guilting her into being Hermione again.
