Eddie Murphy – who’s been laying low since announcing his shocking split from Tracey Edmonds – emerged in Las Vegas Saturday night for the grand opening of the Bellagio’s new nightclub, The Bank.

The actor – going monochromatic in dark blue pants, turtleneck, overcoat and a Kangol hat – hit the club just before 1 a.m. with a group of 30 people.

During his one-hour stay, Murphy – wearing sunglasses inside – sipped Evian water at a VIP table, dancing only occasionally. The actor seemed to pay particular attention to one woman in his entourage, at one point rubbing her leg and holding her hand in the air during a rousing song.

The Shrek star, 46, exchanged vows with Edmonds, 40, in an opulent New Year’s Day bash on a private island off Bora Bora. But the two spilt just two weeks later, before they even had the chance to make their ceremonial union legal.

After The Bank, he and the mystery woman were spotted walking hand-in-hand into Privé Las Vegas. The two made their way to a VIP table stocked with champagne, vodka and tequila and surrounded by a “wall of security,” said an observer.

Ever since Eddie Murphy blew off Scary Spice and denied that their baby was actually his, I’ve really had a chip on my shoulder towards him. Then there were these reports that he is really controlling and has issues with yelling at his new wife, making scenes like the big drama queen he is… And now it’s officially reported that his brand new marriage has fallen into the pits of dispair.

Here is the statement that his publicist made:

“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”

Something tells me that he doesn’t even make a good friend. He comes off like he is way too in love with himself anymore that he has lost his ability to love another person. And to be honest, I kind of think that he deserves to not have a good love life right now. I don’t even know much about this gal he married, but what was she thinking anyway? Who would marry a man who flat out does not want anything to do with his new baby girl? If he doesn’t even respect his own children, why in the world would we expect him to respect any woman?

Maybe Eddie is just bitter because he hasn’t made a good movie in the last few years? Heck, even Shrek 3 wasn’t all that great, and he was just a voice in that. It is a shame though, he was so funny when he did those old Saturday Night Live shows. Maybe he should do a few ‘Buck Wheat Sings’ skits to get his head out of his ass.

 

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds were married on New Year’s Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia in front of 25 friends and family, their reps tell PEOPLE.

In a sunset ceremony on the beach Tuesday, Edmonds walked barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight’s “Makings of You.” The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique.

Murphy wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.

Among the guests were best man Johnny Gill, maid of honor Nicole Avant, matron of honor Julie Lev, as well as Edmonds’s parents Jacqueline and George McQuarn, her brother Michael, Murphy’s mother Lillian Lynch and his brother Vernon.

Edmonds, 40, gave her bridesmaids gold and diamond earrings from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, and Murphy, 46, gave his groomsmen D.Atlantis watches.

The wedding was designed by event designer Colin Cowie, who created a gazebo on the beach made out of 6,000 shells for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests celebrated at a private dinner and after-party, where DJ Darrin Ebron from Los Angeles kept the guests dancing.

The wedding cake was by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings in Napa, CA, and featured four layers in whites and cream with handmade sugar cymbidium and dendrobium orchids.

Edmonds and Murphy started dating last fall and were engaged in July.

When an ex-girlfriend and ex-wife have lunch together, and they kiss, hug, and laugh throughout the whole lunch, it must been they’re talking ish and loving it.

Melanie Brown, who just gave birth to a baby girl named Angel, dated Eddie Murphy for a short while. When she became pregnant, Eddie Murphy accused her of sleeping around and dumped her. The baby, consequently, is Eddie’s and this has been proved through blood tests. Eddie has still not seen his child face-to-face. What a class act!

His ex-wife Nicole brought their daughter Bella and Melanie Brown, who is getting ready for a huge Spice Girls Tour, brought Angel. The older, Bella, held Angel for a bit as the ex’s talked.

This is a picture of Melanie Brown arriving at the lunch date over the weekend. She is always wearing a skin tight dress with her boobs hanging out, isn’t she? And it seems like she’s always just barely hanging onto that baby. It looks like she is always five seconds from dropping Angel on her head almost everytime she carries her. Good luck with that!

At first Eddie Murphy was happy he was having another baby, and then he was like “Oh no, it’s not my baby.. blah, blah, blah.” And then he said he’d father the baby financially and emotionally if he could get a DNA test. And now that Melanie Brown, mother of daughter Murphy Brown, wants the DNA test, Eddie won’t do it. So now she’s taking him to court. Madness!

Melanie Brown, who welcomed her second daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, last month, says she’s taking ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy to court to force him to take a paternity test.

“He’s not doing a DNA test and he’s not signing the birth certificate,” Brown told PEOPLE Tuesday at a party for the U.S. launch of the BOOTS beauty brand in Hollywood. “So it’s going to have to go to court so he can be forced to do it, which is strange since he was the one asking for it.”

Brown, 31, who has an 8-year-old daughter, Phoenix, with her ex-husband, has long maintained that Murphy, 46, is her new baby’s father, although he told a Dutch TV show in December: “I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.” (Source)

I say both of these people grow up. Eddie should’ve kept his mouth shut thus far, but didn’t. So now he needs to take the damn test and man up. Geez, these people are so irresponsible and all they want to do is cry victim. A little girl would like her daddy, please. Lets put your pride and ego aside and take the test to figure it out already! Stupids!

Melanie Brown, better known as Scary Spice from the British girls pop sensation Spice Girls, gave birth to a baby girl early this morning at Saint John’s in Santa Monica, CA.

She weighed 5 pounds 4 ounces. Her name as yet to be released to the public.

The supposed baby-daddy, one Mr. Eddie Murphy, is denying that the baby is his.

Murphy claims Scary cheated on him and that the father of the baby is Scary’s ex.

There’s a way to solve this. Get a paternity test and then shut the hell up about it.

Any suggestions as to what the name of the baby girl should be? Wouldn’t it be funny if the little girl’s middle name was spice? Ha, I think so.
