So People Magazine must’ve been the highest paying bidder because Christina Aguilera has whored her baby pictures out to them. This isn’t surprising because all celebrities do this. It’s not even for us, it’s so they can all compete with eachother on who can have the most insane nursery, the best post-baby body, and the corniest baby poses. Seriously, I’m convinced that’s all its about. If they ended up printing this Christina and Max spread with 5 pictures of Xtina and 1 of Max I doubt she’d even notice. For just having a baby, Christina Aguilera looks pretty dang good. I fully expected her to tranny-it-down a bit after she gave birth but apparently she didn’t get that memo. I can decide if it’s her extremely fake neon hair, her bright red lipstick, or her white face and orange body. Whatever it is, she needs to change it. She’s a great singer and performer but she just looks a little silly. What do you think? Here is Christina Aguilera signing her Back to Basics DVD at Best Buy in Los Angeles last night. I really like Christina Aguilera. Sometimes she drags those high notes out a little too long but hey, that’s her thing so I can’t knock her for it. I think she’s one of a kind–a young girl whose been successful since she was just a young teen whose smart in public, smart with her work, and is starting her family and staying real. You don’t find young girls growing up to be like this in Hollywood anymore. I mean, Lindsay, Britney, Mischa, Paris.. they’re all so messed up. Even Nicole Richie is messed up. But Christina seems like she’s got a good head on her shoulders and that’s why I like her. Plus, ask Randy Jackson would say, she can really blow. This morning Xtina called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and talked to him about motherhood.

“It’s so weird to watch the [Back to Basics] DVD and know I was pregnant with this little guy in my belly,” she said. “It’s amazing.” When asked if her experience being pregnant will play a role on her next album, she said, “I’m very excited! I’m so inspired.

“This whole incredible thing that’s taken place in my life, between the pregnancy and the birth…. I’ve got so much in me to write about. This next record, I want to have a lot of fun with it. I’ve been brainstorming for the last nine months of my pregnancy. This next album will have a whole new me,” she added. “A different me.”

I’m excited to hear her new album. While I’m not wanting to hear songs about her baby (like Britney Spears’ track Someday) I am wanting to hear a new sound from her because I totally think she’s capable. You know what I want to see for Xtina? Her marriage last and for her to break out as an amazing actress on top of being a singer. I think it’s in there somewhere. Congratulations to her on all her success and on her baby boy, Max.

Last night at 10:05 pm (I love how we get these things down to an exact time, now.. sad) Christina Aguilera gave birth to her son, Max Liron Bratman. The last name, of course, comes from Jordan Bratman, her husband. The baby weighs 6 lbs 2 ounces and was 20.5″ long. Congratulations to them, I think they make a cute couple!

I was, however, expecting the baby to weigh more. Seems like C-Ag was pregnant for a whole year and last time I saw a picture of her, she seemed like she was hiding five babies in there! Maybe she just looked bigger because she’s so short? Either way, I was expecting a weirder name and more kids. But, I guess a normal name was a nice surprise.

I’m kind of getting tired of Maxim making lists for everything. I mean, does anyone need to have a list of hot pregnant women? I don’t think so. Just like I didn’t think it was necessary to have a list of un-sexy women, but whatever. That’s why I don’t write for Maxim, I guess. Anyway, they came out with a list of the 9 Sexiest Pregnant Women. Why just nine I’m not sure. You’d think they’d do an even ten but they’re so fricken picky I guess they couldn’t find a tenth. I would have put Katie Price on the list as well as Demi Moore and Denise Richards but whatever. Again, this must be why I don’t write for Maxim. So here’s the list they came up with:

In no way at all do I think that Halle Berry should be on that list. Or Christina Aguilera. I mean, yeah, Christina is awesome at other stuff, but as a pregnant woman, she looks like a tranny. If she went easier on the MAC makeup she may be on the list but as of right now, I don’t think she’s deserving of the spot. Who would you get rid of? Who would you add to the list?

I’ve always been a fan of Christina Aguilera because, for a super famous celebrity, she seems to live her life pretty real (just with a shitload of extra cash, that is) and I like that. I mean, you don’t read stories of her having a car collection, a hundred thousand dollar monthly clothes shopping habit, a drug addiction, a need to party, or her nose into the tabloids. Don’t get me wrong; I’m sure she’s a bitchy diva like most celebrities are BUT she seems like she isn’t caught up by her fame. Don’t you think so? Anyway, she’s uber pregnant and will be giving birth circa January. If I were her, I’d be trying to relax right about now but she’s been out and about for her whole pregnant. Got to give her props! Here she is at Kitson promoting the “Rock the Vote” event. Of course her dedicated husband, Jordan Bratman, was there with her. Isn’t it so sweet how he goes everywhere with her and holds her hand and stuff? I love it. When I get pregnant, I expect no less from my fiance!
