Beyonce and Jay Z have been dating since 2002. I think if they’re going to get married, they should wait two more years to see if they steer completely clear of the “7 year itch” that ruins couples. But sources are saying that Beyonce and Jay Z are likely to be getting married today because they’re all about the number 4. Beyonce’s birthday is on the 4th of September and Jay’s is on the 4th of December. Today is 4/4/08.  In addition, invitations went out asking people to wear “all ivory” and to stay posted, since the location has yet to be given. Hmm, sounds pretty secretive. Stay posted and we’ll see if it really  happens tonight!

Rumors are going around that Beyonce will be playing iconic singer Etta James in a movie that’s going to be called Cadillac Records. The film will apparently be about Chess Records, and the stars that the label discovered. Adrien Brody will also be in the film, playing the role of Leonard Chess, the record label owner. Other celebrities in the movie include Jeffrey Wright, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Tammy Blanchard.

Am I the only one who thinks this movie sounds like a cross between Mariah Carey’s Glitter and Beyonce’s previous flop, Dreamgirls? It so does. Didn’t Beyonce learn from Dreamgirls? Not only was she a bad actress but no one liked her trying to steal Jennifer Hudson’s thunder. I’m anxious to see how this movie pans out, and if another actress comes out of nowhere and ends up out-performing Beyonce. It’s going to be great.

Since I’ve been sick the last two days with a nasty cold, I didn’t really get to do anything the last couple of days. Plus, I didn’t want to. I laid on the couch drinking juice, blowing my nose in paper towel (we don’t have any tissues) and watching Nip/Tuck on DVD. I didn’t even know the 2007 American Music Awards were on but I have to say, even if I did know, I probably still wouldn’t have watched them cause I don’t care. Here is a list of the winners from tonights Video Music Awards that were on MTV. It’s funny because I was worried about missing Britney’s performance but all of my friends reassured me that MTV would play the program over and over for the next month. Then I read online that MTV said they were breaking that habit and decided they wouldn’t re-run the show. So, of course, I watched it. Then I read on the internet that on the East coast, it’s already being replayed. So if any of you guys missed the Britney Spears performance, it will be on again. No worries! I’m disappointed that Fergie was a no-show because I totally like Fergie. I bet she would’ve looked hot. I’m also a bit peeved that the cameras didn’t find Justin Timberlake during Britney’s performance. I wanted to see his face! How long were they planning on dating before they got married?! I was beginning to think they were going to be the new Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, you know?

So Jay Z and Beyonce, quite possibly the most annoying and conceited couple in the music industry (or in Hollywood in general), have apparently finally gotten engaged. Yippee. I’m wondering what color my bridesmaid dress will be!!

Sources say that big head B will get the biggest diamond that will fit on her finger and that the wedding will the “the biggest hip-hop wedding to end all hip-hope weddings.” Whatever the hell that means. Who’s gonna perform? I mean, they both think they are the greatest thing, so are they going to perform at their own wedding?

I am making an early prediction that this will be the most annoying, overdone, and obnoxious wedding ever. I can just see Beyonce with her arms up posing for her wedding pictures, while Jay Z is trying to act hard.

Wonder when they will have kiddies?

Beyonce is not just a conceited diva but it seems as if she might be a thief, too. How awesome is she.

Remember that Des’ree song “You Gotta Be” being a big hit in the ’90s? Well Des’ree is the chick that Beyonce is stealing from. I think Beyonce figures since Des’ree isn’t famous anymore, no one will care if she steals from her. What a trick!

Des’ree filed a lawsuit against Beyonce and her peeps yesterday claiming she recorded a song called “I’m Kissing You” that Des’ree co-wrote. Des claims Beyonce never got clearance to use the song on her B’Day album. Skeeze!

Des’ree said that big-head Beyonce and Jay Z her peeps originally tried to work out terms with her, but nothing could be worked out. Apparently, B was mad that Des’ree didn’t want any changes. The name of the song was to remain the same, etc. Then Beyonce decided she’d change the name of the song and do whatever she wanted, pretending she didn’t know what the hell a copyright law really was.

According to TMZ, Des’ree is only asking for $150,000 and immediate half of the song, album and video. Beyonce could not be reached for comment, because she’s probably busy stealing more songs and putting a hit out on Des’ree’s head. Psycho!
