Britney Spears turned herself in last night to be booked for the car accident she had back in August. And by the car accident she had in August, I mean when she hit that van and just took off. Britney turned herself in to the Van Nuys Police Station at 9 pm last night and was there for 45 minutes before she was released. She was booked on misdemeanor counts of hit and run The LAPD released this statement:

“At approximately 9:25 PM Miss Britney Spears checked into the Van Nuys County Jail for a court ordered booking. She was put through standard booking procedures which included booking photographs, fingerprinting and collection of information. Britney was at all time cooperative in the process. She was there approximately 45 minutes.”

I’m sure her mugshot will surface pretty soon. I bet it’s not even as bad as how she normally looks. She knew she’d have a mugshot taken, so she probably even fixed herself up a little. I bet Lynne Spears is going, “how did she go from that to this?” cause I know I’d be thinking that if it was my messed up kid.

Oh, on a side note, Van Nuys sucks. I drove 6 hours to get there and then when I finally got to my hotel, my car got broken into when I was checking in! Ghetto! It’s a perfect place for ghetto Britney then, huh!
