Britney Spears will indeed be performing her new single “Gimme More” at the MTV VMA’s in Las Vegas on September 9th. And guess who will be “helping her out” with her performance? Criss Angel. Apparently the two are working on a mirror-disappearing act for Britney during her songs. Great, maybe she’ll disappear and never come back? That’s what I’m hoping for.

In other Britney Spears news, the lyrics to her song “Cold as Fire” were posted by The Sun yesterday and apparently they were very incorrect. The magazine said her song went, “I’m just the girl with the ability to drive a man crazy/Make him cum in my mouth/Make him my new baby.” I could definitely see Britney stooping down to this level and really having this be her song because it’s trashy and gross, just like her. BUT… it turns out that our Britney hasn’t sunk that low, yet. The real lyrics are, “I’m just the girl with the ability to drive a man crazy/Make him call me mama/Make him my new baby.” Well, those are toned down but still lame.
