Britney Spears’ Single Debut of “Gimme More”
On my way to work today, I was listening to the radio, which I almost NEVER do. And guess what premiered? The new Britney Spears single “Gimme More.” I didn’t know what to expect because the last album she made really wasn’t that good. It wasn’t dance, pop, or r&b. It was all of those, which made it hard to find a niche I think. Anyway, I heard the song today..
It is definitely not good by any standards. The chorus is straight repetition of ‘gimme more’ over and over. It has potential to be remixed as a dance song, but right now it’s a little on the annoying side. It’s got a T-Pain vibe to it. I don’t usually rate music, but if I had to grade it with a letter I’d give it a C-. It would be lower but its coming from Britney Spears, so I expected it to be really crappy. She actually surprised me.

i absolutely love the new britney song! i think with all these idiot people following her around 24/7 and not letting her live her own life she has done a great job! leave the girl alone and let her make music that we all love!!!
I’ve heard both of these “songs” and they SUCK. Nasal sounding, lyrics that make no sense, repeatative words – she doesn’t even sing as much as she makes stupid noises.
I can’t wait to see her on the VMA’s — please Lord, make her fall on her face so that we can be rid of her once & for all.
Better yet, Criss Angel, make her disappear for good.

its acutally something diff. interesting untill we see the vma’s then we can see if she really made a come back.
I heard the song the other day, and to be completely honest, I’d rather listen to someone hearing impaired attempt to sing. It’s completely void of any character and originality, and sounds quite generic. I’m totally sick and tired of the media talking about her too. Just wish she would go away once and for all (her and her crappy commercial music).
