I wouldn’t consider Britney Spears’ downward spiraling life an American tragedy but it is definitely sad. Last night I couldn’t sleep so I decided to read up on the Britney drama. I read Lynne Spears’ declaration to the court and it seriously made me feel really badly for Britney Spears. She has serious mental problems and instead of someone genuinely caring for her, she has Sam Lufti taking advantage of her and drugging her. It’s seriously sad. While right now she claims to “hate” her parents, I do think it is in her best interest to lose Sam Lufti (and all the other mooch paps in her life) and have her parents get her life under control. She needs mental help and I think her break-up with Kevin has seriously been the root of this all. Now, Rolling Stone Magazine (just like every other media outlet–including these blogs!) is making money off Britney being a disaster. They are publishing this story (cover, inset) with lots of drama about Britney. The story even includes a dirty story about Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. On top of that, the article says that Britney got breast implants as a young teen and when she got a growth spurt, she got the implants removed. It just sounds like her life has been controlled by people who just want to make money off of her. I want to read this article but I definitely don’t want to know more sad things. If you guys read it, let me know how bad it is!
