Anne Hathaway’s Boyfriend Arrested for Bouncing $250,000 Check!
When you’re not famous and you’re bouncing checks its pretty lame and embarrassing. But when you are sort of famous and dating someone who is famous, and you’re bouncing huge checks, its basically embarrassing for everyone involved. I’m sure Anne Hathaway is feeling pretty bad right now. All this bad publicity sucks so I think she should break up with him. Oh, BTW, his name is Raffaelo Follieri and here’s what happened:
Anne Hathaway’s Italian stallion was just arrested by NYPD for allegedly bouncing a real big check his ass couldn’t cover.
Police tell us Zac Braff-alike Raffaelo Follieri was popped for one misdemeanor count of issuing a bad check — he’s still in police custody, being booked. A source tells TMZ that the check was written for around $250,000, and when the bank said insufficient funds, it wasn’t even close. Apparently, the devil wears knock-offs!
That’s hardly the end of the bad news for Follieri. A DC court just ordered him to pay almost $250,000 to a PR firm that he still owes for work they did.
There’s an update on TMZ claiming that Follieri went willingly with the cops because the whole thing was just a “misunderstanding” that could be cleared up. I don’t know how a bounced check is a misunderstanding, especially for that amount of money but whatever.
Anne needs a new man. Let’s start looking.
Makes you wonder what happened to the money donated to the Follieri Foundation,as he put Anne on the board, will he expect her to bail him out, if she dose, he’ll bleed her dry. Has Anne’s infatuation, now turned to intimidation. She surely must have seen through this Guy by now. But he manages to keep her hanging on.
