First can I just say.. can we really blame Jon Voight for not wanting anything to do with Angelina Jolie for a couple of years? I mean, when you have an intervention for someone you love, you take away your relationship with them in hopes they see where they are going wrong. Maybe that’s what Jon did? Cause for a while there, Angie was kissing her brother, having sex with Billy Bob in limos, getting a lot of icky tattoos, drinking straight from the bottle, and just generally being quite odd. I guess being a cheating husband-stealer really makes you want to reform, huh? Now that Angelina is on the straight and narrow with Brad Pitt and her kids, I guess Jon Voight is proud.

The National Enquirer is claiming that Angelina called her father, Jon Voight, on Christmas day and patched up the relationship. Both of them were excited to speak and it meant the world to them, according to the NE. Last month Jon had said in an interview, “I’m very impressed with Angelina’s work, with some of the humanitarian things, and she’s a great actress. I am always thinking of Brad and the kids. I’m sending my love that way.“ 

Congratulations to them for working stuff out. Life is far too short to have an ongoing feud with someone as important as your father. And now the kids can have a grand-daddy other than Brad’s dad. Hooray.
