It’s nice to see a celebrity who got married and is actually going to change their name! I think that when people get married that the woman should take the man’s name. If she wants hers too then add a hyphen in there but come on! I really didn’t expect her to take his name, either. I sort of can’t even believe they are actually married. I wonder if she’s pregnant?

Here’s what Ash said about changing her last name from Simpson to Wentz:

“I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”

Ashlee will go by Ashlee Wentz personally and professionally she will hyphen it up and go by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Hey, maybe if Jessica would have hyphened Lachey then it would’ve worked out? Who knows.

Rumor has it that there may be an Ugly Betty made for Broadway quite soon. I don’t watch the show so I can’t say whether or not this is a bad thing. My uncle really likes this show so I’m guessing it’s funny but a little cheesy. I don’t know if they’d cast new actors but I’m guessing they would. I’m really not all about the America Ferrera hype like everyone else is. I don’t find her that awesome from what I’ve seen of her movies.

Everyone gives Hilary Duff a bad time because she got veneers and got all skinny but if you ask me, I think she looks pretty darn good. I mean, she’s not eating-disorder skinny anymore and hey, nice teeth are important. I like that she isn’t being a total butt-bag to the paps in these pictures, either. I wonder what kind of drink is in that coffee cup? Probably something with a small amount of calories!  I wonder if she and Mike Comrie and still going strong? I hope so, they make a cute couple! Wow! Sarah Jessica Parker looked hot last night at the Sex and the City New York Premiere. I mean, she looked really, really good for her. The way her make up is done accentuates her beauty and makes her nose looks smaller, don’t you think? I think Kim Cattrall looks pretty old and Chris Noth’s girlfriend/wife/whatever looks like a caveman… doesn’t she? She gets a pass because she just had a baby. Other than that, I’m not sure what her excuse is.

I would totally be going to see this movie on Friday if it weren’t for me having to move for the next two days. Let me take that back. I’d probably go see The Happening first. Mark Wahlberg is looking good in that movie. I also want to see The Strangers but I don’t know when that one is out. Either way, those beat out Sex and the City. But I DO want to see it. I hope Aiden makes a cameo!

Christian Bale is not only one of the most talented actors making movies right now but he’s also pretty damn hot. I honestly think he’s the new Brad Pitt. I think 2 years ago he was the new Brad Pitt. Then in 10 more years he’ll be the new George Clooney. Seriously. Only Christian Bale deserves the hype and the other two don’t.

Here’s Christian on the front of Details Magazine. He’s in the new Batman movie and really pimping it out. A katrillion people are going to see that movie just because of Heath Ledger and his untimely passing. I hope it’s good that way the people who go see it are actually paying for something besides Heath. I’d pay to watch Christian take a nap so I know for sure I’ll be there! Will you?

Rumor had it that when Kirsten Dunst checked into rehab she did it because she was an alcoholic.. or, at least she had a drinking problem. But according to Kirsten herself, she was just really depressed. I’d be depressed too if I missed out on being with Jake Gyllenhaal. I think in general I’d just be depressed knowing I was Kirsten Dunst. Hey, she’s rich but she’s also known as the snaggle tooth and that ain’t hot. Here’s what she told some dude from E!:

“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse…I went there for depression. It was a good six months before I decided to go away. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn’t know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.”

Let’s hope she’s feeling better. I wonder if she’s doing any better? Let’s hope so. She’s probably throwing darts at a picture of Reese Witherspoon as we speak. She may be less depressed but I guarantee she’s crazy as hell.

I could list all the things I’ve been super busy with but I’m sure you all wouldn’t give a shit. All you want are high resolution pictures with a lot of trash talk you can bag on! BUT.. it would make me feel better to tell you why I took such a long, unexpected break. So here’s what I’ve been doing: all my end of the semester papers and projects, studying for finals, finals, packing, getting ready to move, moving, wedding stuff, household stuff, and… so much more. It’s been a hard semester but now I’m back. And because of my hiatus (I feel bad, trust me) I will be having a nice little giveaway in about a week or so. Stay tuned and many apologies!

Legendary director, producer, and actor Sydney Pollock died on Monday. The actor, who was 73, died from complications from cancer at his home in California.

I remember him from his dick-hole role in Changing Lanes with Ben Affleck. He was good. He won an Oscar for “Out of Africa” as best director and was most recently in the movie Michael Clayton. I saw that movie but it was boring as hell so I watched it with just one eye. I don’t remember Pollock in it but I’ll take imdb’s word for it.

Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson are certainly spending some quality time together.

The seven-time Tour de France winner and the actress were spotted in Austin on both Friday and Saturday nights. First, the pair dined at Eddie V’s, a high-end restaurant frequented by Armstrong, according to a restaurant insider.

“They came in [Friday] and had dinner together, it’s true,” the insider tells PEOPLE.

The next night, Hudson, 29, and Armstrong, 36, ate at the casual Hula Hut with the athlete’s three children and a group of friends. “They came in with the kids and a large group of people,” says another restaurant source. “They ordered dinner – tacos, burgers and fries and that sort of stuff.”

Asked if the pair looked romantic, the source merely said, “They looked like they were having fun.”

Hudson and Armstrong were also in the same place on Thursday: Both were spotted in New York at the Wildwood Barbeque restaurant at the afterparty following Kid Rock’s Madison Square Garden concert.

Hudson, who has been filming Bride Wars, recently called it quits with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Owen Wilson. Armstrong was most recently linked with Ashley Olsen.

Armstrong’s rep had no comment. Hudson’s rep does not comment on clients’ personal lives.
